Tearing the "Under the Dome" TV Series Apart (Introduction)

Notice: The only reason I am making this is for the sake of comedy and because there might be a chance someone out there likes/hates Under the Dome. I don't like Under the Dome and I know this probably has no place being here, but... eh.
Also, if you are a child under the age of like, 13, don't read this. Just, trust me. Don't.

Tearing the "Under the Dome" TV Series Apart (Introduction) · 8:48pm Jul 7th, 2015

Don't.
So, anyone see that last episode of Under the Dome? Redux? No, no one, just me, okay.
Well, apparently pod people are now being fused with life forces using a plastic glowing egg that made people see visions of a psychologist lady who may or may not be an alien. Stephen King folks!
I'll admit, I am a fan of Stephen King's works. I think It and Cujo are some really well-paced, well-written, hard-hitting pieces of literature. It goes double in the hard-hitting section because just thwacking someone over the head with a hardcover copy could cause serious brain damage. It's that long.
Speaking of long books, Under the Dome is a thousand-paged book by prolific horror author Stephen King. I have yet to read it, but from what I know about it, it isn't as complicated as the TV show. And holy shit is the TV series complicated. So much so that I'm almost positive that by season 2 the writers just started bullshitting new plot elements into the show. Gotta keep up that 13 episode necessity somehow, am I right?
They added a ton of stuff including a magic egg, magic alien people, magic cocoons, life forces, atheist (dome-theist?) doctors, and (according to the previews for the fourth episode of season 3) hazmat suited people. Aliens. Whatever.
So, yeah, the show is nothing like the book. Which is fine, but if you're going to adapt something and change everything but the name you should probably actually have an idea of what you're going to do. And if it's as complicated as Under the Dome's story, plan ahead. Apparently the writers have five season planned, but I really doubt that they'll have any consistency.
So that's it. I'm gonna review each episode until we get caught up to where the series is now, and have many laughs and face-palms along the way.
And... yeah.
The End. I guess.
