So ever since i got back from EverfreeNW, i had a lot of stuff happen irl that has caused me to not be creative. Ive been in a muck of writers block.
I'm sorry for no updates.
However i have been feeling better bit by bit and a bit before October started the artist started up an event: OC tober.
I've started 3 stories in the past 2 months. I've gotten finished with one chapter on.. None of them. I'm burnt out. Work's killing my drive to create, and it's one of the hardest things I have to go through regularly. I procrastinate, a lot. Like, it's a genuinely awful habit of mine, but I've tried to sit down, lock in, and start writing so many times in the past few weeks, but my job just.. Kills motivation. I'm starting another story tomorrow, something relatively short. Not quite a
I got 2700 words into the SYS-TER Chapter of "Equus Metamorphosis" and realized something wasn't working. I've been making notes for this chapter for about a week and revising the approach several times until I got to the point I'm at today. I had to stop and just step back.
Yes guys, I'm still alive and doing what comes to mind. Writing, apparently, wasn't on it (or at least it's been on and off) for the past couple weeks. You may have seen my newest story, "The One Who Is Always There," that's become a WAY outdated Mother's Day special short story. It started out as a way to take a break from my few other main stories I've been updating, perhaps gain some new ideas to how I progress them, and get what I thought was an interesting story out in the open. Now, I've
Well, as "The Magic of... Music?" is currently suffering some of the dreaded Writer's Block, I thought to relieve some stress I'd give it (Yes, I'm personifying Writer's Block here.) a taste of what I'd like to do with it. (Whistles) Oh, Crowley...?
Crowley: Sic 'em boy!
Spent the last three months working on a digimon fic and now I don't like anything I typed for it!
Well that's okay because I've got quite a few other ideas I can try to take to approach it, but thought I'd take a second to post another MLP fic idea I'd had in the meantime. Granted it'd be something of a crack-fic/parody (heavily inspired by this image and its comments) but still.
Critique, in my mind, is an assessment, an evaluation. It identifies the ideas the writer was attempting to get across, the sensations, the feelings, and judges how well those were communicated. It identifies the good versus the bad and pits these against each other, highlighting by contrast where the writer should focus their efforts to produce future, stronger works. At least, this is what I imagine critique to be.
After some time browsing, I think I'm in the minority.
Greetings Gamers!
I just wanted to give you and update on the story. It has quickly become my most popular story, which has never been my intent, which is just so bucking crazy!
Anywho!
I arrange my writing into both an overall palette as well as a palette for each scene. I call it a palette because I draw on each part of it when writing up my plan for each scene, a bit like a paint palette (and I use it to inform my plans for the writing)

Hello! And welcome to my desperate plea for help suggestion box! I will be completely honest, I'm starting to run low on new, origional ideas for my Prank War story. 3 months of updating 3-4 times a week will do that to you.
So, time for audience participation! What kind of pranks do YOU want to see Nick, the Royal sisters, and company bug each other with? Put them here so I can have 'em all in one place. You will be credited for your ideas in the corresponding chapter.
Yeah, I haven't updated The Second Pony to Become an Alicorn in about eight months. But to prove that it's not dead, here's an exert from the next chapter that has been in production for... I dunno.
Welcome back readers, to another entry in Being a Better Writer! Where we are still locked in the Summer of Cliche Writing Advice! That’s right, it isn’t over yet!

I'm not gonna lie to any of you. This next chapter has been the hardest one for me to put together. The fights have been epic, and some of the dialog has revealed so much that had previously been left unsaid. It's all going to be hard to top without repeating setups or combat styles and similar back and forth.
Mykan... you just Bock Evaded me. This is your one and ONLY warning. If you attempt to Block Evade me again, you will be reported. Before, I reported you on someone else's behalf. Be glad I'm giving you a warning this time.
Oi, having the most terrible scourge of writers block trying to get the next chapter of Sins out... I've got an idea of where it's supposed to go and how I'm going to get there, it's just putting words to electronic paper.
This time it's a offshoot of The Moon In The Dark by Tatsurou titled The Moon In The Dark: Alt-Endings and Doomed Detours in which different paths or decisions are made that deviate from the original story, as the title implies. There's only 3 chapters published currently, but there are several others I'm working on.
