Sooooo, I just learned The Black Library just put out an open call for submissions based on Games Workshop IP. 'Official' fanfic, basically.

And hey, I'm kind of good at fanfic.

The kicker is, I'm fairly certain they won't let me write Ciaphas Cain-- not right off the bat, at least. More's the pity. Still, Games Workshop's got a pretty deep sandbox to play in, so that's a plus.

Once when I was shopping for a new toothbrush, there were MLP Makeupkits in the same aisle. There's just NO escape. Even if you turn off the TV, some little kid comes by wearing MLP clothes or carrying MLP merch. Just no escape, and even the non-MLP celebrites have MLP likenesses of their own characters for promotions.

I should also point out that bit about Non in the title, someone gave me a story a week or two ago and it got me into a little-known fandom which I had dipped my toes in, a fandom (fanfiction obviously) that is outside out ponies.
