Ridiculous Minecraft Map Continues To Be Ridiculous · 2:33am Oct 8th, 2016
So in my last Minecraft blog, I talked about my random-seed map (seed 4275121694887994307 if anyone wants to try it themselves) that provided me with two desert temples and three desert villages, all within an easy walk of spawn.
Well, I finished the wall...
And finished clearing, leveling, and lighting the gardens.
I'll work out a more elegant lighting arrangement later. It was important that I get it lit up quickly because my house design isn't completely enclosed — there are archways that open into the garden area, and I wanted to turn off Peaceful without inviting every creeper in the game to come fuck up my everything. On that note, more interior details, including one of the archways.
But here's the important thing, where this game continues being insanely lucky. In the garden lighting picture, you'll notice I built a Nether portal at the far end (it's far away because I find the sounds it makes extremely annoying after a few minutes). On my very first trip into the Nether, this is what I saw:
Yes. My very first Nether portal dropped me right in front of a Nether Fortress, staring right at a Blaze Spawner. I effectively can build a blaze rod farm in my back yard.
Seriously, this game.
Bonus image: sunrise, also awesome.
