Signal Boost: The Cab Ride and a Night Train · 2:45am Nov 26th, 2020

Almost a not-a-contest entry, or maybe it is (gonna confess that I haven’t read through all of it just yet). . . .

EThe Cab Ride and a Night Train
After her composition is bashed by the critics, Octavia travels to New York City in 1978 to seek inspiration. Her answer comes not from the concert halls or academics, but rather from a cab ride.

But what I have read through, Penguifyer’s already hitting where it counts. Ponies are musical, we all know that.

And it would be a lie to say I don't feel some anxiety over it. Still some work to do, from writing the Author's Notes to the introductory blog. It's been a six-week journey coming to an end tomorrow... or maybe it's only beginning. How, I can't help but wonder, will it be received? You just never know. It might be a huge hit--you don't see much griffon/human action on site, so this could certainly be filling a neglected niche--or it could end up flopping and doing damage to the main story in

Stanley Kubrick's masterful black comedy satire of the Cold War and the fear of nuclear apocalypse remains just as hilarious and witty as it was more then 50 years ago, remaining one of the best satires ever made.

Obligatory Signal Boost: Robbing a Trampoline Store · 4:52am Nov 27th, 2019

As y’all probably know, ROBCakeran53 and I hang out a bunch, and as y’all likely also know, SuperTrampoline and I have collabed on a couple of shipfics. Some of y’all (especially Bad Horse) also know that sometimes I’ll fold like a cheap suit when called out on Fimfiction, especially if told not to do something.

While this statistic probably doesn’t exist, I’d put money on the Lauritzen Gardens/Kenefick Park having more locomotive by weight than any other public park in the US. Sweetsong was right to guess you’d put them where traffic on the highway can see them; in fact, they’re on a hill overlooking I-80.

T-minus 60 hours to Feathered Hearts: Eros launch... · 12:35am May 29th, 2021

It will launch when I get up on Memorial Day, which is Monday morning (a three day weekend! :yay:). First full editing pass on the ten chapter side story is complete, and a second one is planned. I also need to flesh out the final two chapters by about 1000 more words to bring them up to what I consider ideal clopfic chapter length. That aside, I've already got the story cover prepared:

Iowa, not necessarily a destination for a mare on the move, although if she’d ridden the Dakota, Minnesota and Eastern, she could have stopped off in Britt, Iowa . . . home of the National Hobo Convention.

Welp, I guess long chapter then. · 6:01am Oct 4th, 2018

The rewrite of chapter "Unforgotten" is currently standing at roughly 2,600 words and counting, and I still don't consider it finished. This was originally supposed to be one of the final chapters of Part 2, providing plenty of new information to the readers to ease them into new conflicts in Part 3.

And I guess avoiding straight-up infodumping and instead writing it all into the story arc is just gonna balloon the chapter into the longest one yet in the Pony-Me universe.

Hey, guys! Next chapter is about ready! · 1:31pm May 28th, 2018

I don't think it's completely ready, though. As always, I haven't really done much editing yet, and I'm a little on the tired side. Been taking care of my baby while I've been writing, so there's that. He's such a quiet kid, though. Only really fusses when he's hungry or getting changed.

That being said, it would be a huge help if you guys took a look at it, as I'm most likely going to miss something. Thanks a ton in advance! I really appreciate your input!
