Hello followers and favers of "The Iron Horse!" So, first off, the next chapter has been written and should go up tomorrow! That's the good news.
I see other authors break up large chapters into multiple parts but I never really got why. Currently chapter 19 of Broken then Healed is at 7000+ words and looks like hitting 10k is not out of reason. Is that too much? I can cut it in half or well two pieces but honestly the chapter doesn't really feel done at that point.

There’s only so much that can go into a story, especially one with as many characters as 16 has. So I’m opening the floor to asking these characters questions. Wouldn't normally ask this, but it's the first draft, so I realise I require some beta readers for a story that's ready for release but needs that extra insight for any issues it might have.
What is this story? It's this one: How to Catch a Pinkie Pie. The longest one in the ''How to Catch'' series. 
A little over 14k words. Five chapters. I actually was left with little choice but to split it into chapters. That's a rarity.

It's been a little while since Ghost Lights was completed and I took some time off from writing while I was figuring out what story I wanted to do next. Not too long ago, though, inspiration came to me, and I've completed the first draft of a one-shot of about 6.3k words (right now) featuring Twilight and Luna in some very heavy philosophical territory over afternoon tea, which is always interesting. I thought so, anyway.

After a very, very good night sleep I woke up to more support, more jokes, and generally people being their filthy selves on my equally filthy story. All in all a good day to wake up.
Of course then I get a message notification (which is rare) and I'm greeted with this delightful gem of knowledge.
Oh boy.
Wow... I don't pay attention to my follower count so much as the Favorites (which is mostly used as a "Read It Later" over the actual Read It Later function). Often times, TQP is favorited and followed simultaneously, but I never badger to know readers' intentions.
Even though I have ideas, I need more inspiration if I'm going to make "Just Kiss Already" last as long as I intend, and I need some inspiration from you guys, the ones who read my story.
And I'm also asking for suggestions to help inspire me write new ideas down instead of 'fillers'. Such as Clannad, an Anime I've depended on in the past for inspiration in writing. (And is also known to make me cry my eyes out among my friends.) And had amazing character development.

So hello everyone 'nother blog post here detailing random crap that comes to mind whenever I have thoughts or something crazy like that.
What I want to discuss is actually about the characters from Kirby, more specifically the Helpers or Partners that exist. At this point I do want to do something with them but at the same time I want to go through the main tale without deviating too far so I thought up something.
After some revision based on feedback from round 1 of pre-reading (http://www.fimfiction.net/blog/522688/looking-for-pre-readers), I'm back with a new and more expanded draft of the story I've been working on.
It's much closer to being finished now, I think, so it's time to put out the call for pre-reading and editing for draft 2!
Another simple one, someone cosplaying as Grillby ends up in Equestria. He then decides that the best course of action would be too open up a bar. The story itself would be about Grillby interacting and reacting to the shenanigan of the locals, as offering some advise to those that need it.

I have changed the short and long descriptions on the story. A forum poster pointed out reasonably that my descriptions seem to give away everything about the story, and won’t entice new readers because they think they understand what will happen. The new descriptions evoke a sense of mystery
