Hey there, Fimfiction family.
Last time we met was kinda angsty. This time may not be as angsty, but hey, you guys be the judge of that.
So remember that job interview I had on Wednesday? Well, as it turns out they hired me on the spot. So on October 21st I will be headed off to my new job as a collections agent... Yay?
Now don't get me wrong, I cannot wait to get out of the house. I'm super excited about that part. But it does mean that I may not be on here writing for you guys for a while. The last time I had a job I didn't write for a month after.
Yes, you did read that correctly, a month.
I'm glad I'll have a job and be making money to get on my way to Pensacola, but jobs tend to take up most of my creative energy. I've only ever had one official job before, and it made it incredibly difficult to get the juices flowing, so to speak. I'm really glad I'll be working toward my goal, but I'm going to feel terrible about not posting on here as much.
You guys have been my biggest support system for such a long time. If nothing else I've always been able to count on encouraging words from you guys on my stories, even if I didn't get any kindness at all any other time in the day. Even though I'm really happy to be employed, I wouldn't call being a collections agent a "Positive" kind of job. It doesn't exactly call forth images of good things. But we all must do what we must do to live.
I feel so bad that I won't be able to devote as much time to this incredible community. I hope you guys know though that I will come back eventually. I always come back, even after some long hiatuses. This fandom is just too great to stay away from.
I'll still be here for ten more days unrestricted, but I wanted you guys to know now so that you knew in case I forgot to say something later.
I love you all so much. I'm so grateful for your prayers and well wishes. You all are the most amazing people, and I am so utterly grateful to be writing for you. I hope that while you're in that waiting period for some new stuff, my old stuff can keep you entertained. You are really wonderful people, and I'm lucky to be here with all of you.

Hey, I understand that real life comes first. I'm glad that you can finally get out of that bad situation and take that first step toward freedom!
Congratulations on the new job. It can be hard to write when you're busy, but you might still be able to make it work.
