So be it, folks. You want it, you got it. The next Firefly chapter is underway, with Feathered Hearts as second priority for now. I’ll aim for a chapter release within two weeks, then continue with it but also mix in some work on Feathered Hearts after.

To those of you who came aboard to read Feathered Hearts but haven’t read my Firefly series yet? I strongly recommend you do so. It tells the story of the Great Pony/Gryphon War that gets mentioned frequently even in the original Feathered Heart through the eyes of Firefly, ancestor of Rainbow Dash and founder of the Bolt Knights (later the Wonderbolts). I will say without any humility it is one of the best, if not the best, military thrillers and war epics on site, and it’ll also tell the story of such characters as Thunderbolt or Gavian Ravenoff that have been mentioned here in Feathered Hearts.

It’ll show exactly what I can do with duel and battle scenes, and the skill I’ll eventually turn towards the Cloven War. Hope to see you there!

And if that’s not enough to tempt you, how about the fact that I like to spice up my battle chapters with maps and diagrams?

One minor complication is that work has severely picked up right now and we’re under heavy pressure to get a release done before the end of the month. That may bite into my time and ability to write, but if so, I’ll let folks know. For now, I’m aiming for a release on or around June 24th.
