In an unfortunate storm, Fluttershy is killed and Rainbow Dash is currently finding it hard to move on. Will she ever be able to?

There's a certain holiday that ponies like tuh celebrate every year.

They celebrate it tuh give thanks back tuh the one who stood by 'em in the rain and held 'em up when they felt weak.

Some ponies like tuh take the other out tuh eat, or jus' tuh talk.

Us Apples?

Well, we jus' like tuh ignore it.

Rainbow Dash has always struggled with the idea that she needs to be the best, and when a new and mysterious pony comes to town to compete in the annual series of race events, she can't help but feel threatened that some other pony may be able to compete against her. Who is this mysterious pony and what is this pony doing in Ponyville? Will this new pony be able to beat the undefeated Rainbow Dash? More importantly, would Rainbow Dash be ok with losing?

What would you do to bring the one you loved back? Would you risk the safety of everyone just to have those last few moments with them? After a terrible accident, Rainbow Dash finds herself lost in a world with one less friend. It seems the only thing she can do is sulk until Twilight comes across an ancient spell that is rumored to bring back the dead, but only for one week. Is it worth it?

Rainbow Dash is faced with a choice after her dream ends up not being what she hoped it would be.

This is a first person point of view story told from Rainbow Dash's perspective, this was particularly hard for me because I have never had to do any first person stories that actually have interaction with other ponies in them. This was an idea that popped into my head and I decided to write it down.

The families of the mane six come together to celebrate a Hearth's Warming Holiday, partying together, giving presents, and blessing each other with a Happy Hearth's Warming.

Scootaloo has always looked up to Rainbow Dash as a mentor or an older sister. So, when Rainbow Dash promises to give Scootaloo flying lessons one afternoon, it makes the little filly's entire day.

The sad thing about promises, though: just like bodies in gravity, they can shatter.
