[GoldenVerse side fic.] After Raindrops brings up some unsettling facts about Spike, Twilight and Rarity are forced to take a look at themselves and their treatment of a young Drake who has been a major part of their life. For Twilight, it's the role of a mother who's taken for granted and ignored her son for most of his life. For Rarity, it's the treatment of a very special friend as free labor.

After their bout of introspection, they work to make it up to him, and grow themselves along the way. This is the Momma Twi, Sparity fic I mentioned in the comment section of "Getting Ready".

OMC! My soul is going to burn in Tartarus for making this fic. and anyone who reads this are also going to probably join me. I made this when getting inspiration on how to transition from one scene to the big reveal in Golden Wings chapter 12 [technically 13].

Soul Shard isn't your average filly, nor is she your average pegasi. No she's a pegasus that can cast spells as good as any unicorn, but born into a unicorn, noble family that sees her as a blemish against their blood purity. As she grow older, she is constantly locked away from the outside world with only her books and love for magic.

But one fateful day she's cast out on the street. With only herself and her wits she tries to make her way in the world only to be disappointed in the cruelty a pegasus whose love is magic can face. After his reform by none other than Discord's first true friend, Fluttershy. He's been doubting if the other Element Bearer's are his friends or not. So when the perfect opportunity came to get Twilight to finally join one of his and Fluttershy's special picnics who was he to pass it up?

Now Twilight has to deal with facing the very epitome of chaos, the very anti-thesis of her logical, structured existence. Not as a mortal enemy, but as a friend ... or go insane trying.

To catch you up on things you might not get in this AU that pop up here:

-Scootaloo was found as an Orphan by Raindrops, and durring Scootaloo's physical found out she had a block in her wings meridians.

-They were recommended by the doctor to see Twilight who has the machines to deal with that problem [Ponyville being an Earth Pony majority village, not much need of expensive tools for rare unicorn problems, and even more rare for pegasi].

-When the problem was fixed. Scootaloo turned out to be a Mage and wing / hoof cast spells chaottically as years of backed up magic expelled forth from her body.

-Discord popped into help if Twilight would finally accept the invitation to go to one of Flutters and his picnics that Twilight and the others have been avoiding.

- On the date of the picnic. Spike left for Canterlot to discover who he is as an individual. Which made Twilight loose it on the mare who she blamed for hurting Spike [whom she just figured out saw her as a mother figure].
