Twilight Sparkle has kept detailed notes on her magical ability for her entire life. Nopony's terribly surprised. After becoming the Element of Magic, an alicorn, and the Princess of Friendship, her abilities have changed dramatically. Again, nopony's surprised.

Twilight Sparkle is going to live forever. She won't be alone. The Elements of Harmony can never be separated by something as banal as time.

That surprises a few ponies. That surprises them a lot.

"Alright, Miss Sparkle. For your last manecut, you asked to take three inches off all around, except on the bangs. Would you like that same thing again? Or would you prefer to try something different this time?"

The question, of course, terrified Twilight Sparkle.

Rainbow Dash finally gained her consciousness to see she was in a dark room. She tried to rub her head, but saw that her legs were tied down, as well as her head and waist. She suddenly remembered where she had experienced this before.

Well, she herself didn't experience it, but in a story she read, her best friend, Pinkie Pie, kidnapped her and turned her into cupcakes. She noticed how despaired her pink friend was when she found out what Rainbow Dash had read, even though she didn't understand why Pinkie Pie was so badly shaken up. Rainbow Dash knew Pinkie Pie would never harm her in any way, but why is she down here, strapped against her will, if her friend would never harm her?

Had Pinkamena Diane Pie, Pinkie Pie's evil side, finally resurfaced to kill everypony they knew and loved?

I wrote this story back in 2012, so of course my writing wasn't nearly as good as it is now, not meaning to brag.

After visiting her Great Aunt Apple Turnover in Galloping Gorge, Applejack is exhausted. She would love nothing better than to collapse underneath a tree and take a long nap. However, her athletic rival just happens to be passing by, and she's caught AJ in a rather compromising position. Or, has she?

After finding a chess set in the library's storage closet, Twilight is eager to play a few games and turns to Applejack and Rainbow Dash. Teaching the two most competitive ponies in Ponyville a new game should be a snap, right? RIGHT?!

One look at the headline of the Canterlot Times and Twilight knew that she should have slept in today. But at least none of her friends would be silly enough to believe she was killing herself every time she teleported, right?

Ever since I was a filly, my dream was to become a Wonderbolt. Only the best even get into the Academy, and I accomplished that easily. At first, Lightning Dust was considered better than me because she pushed herself to her limits. But nopony has any idea how far I've pushed myself my whole life.

When a freak reading accident causes Twilight to be admitted to the Ponyville hospital, Rainbow Dash is right by her side. Compelled by a sense of duty and repayment, she takes it upon herself to cheer up her friend.

Learning to fly couldn't be that hard, right? Wrong. The height is dizzying, and the wind is harsh. But sometimes you have to learn to rely on something that you really don't have power over, but could really save your life. Even in the toughest parts of life, it'll always be there to rely on, and it won't let you down.
