This story is a sequel to The Draconequus with the Dragon Tattoo

It's been a year since Discord cut Fluttershy out of his life after the events of The Draconequus with the Dragon Tattoo, but their paths are destined to cross once again when two of Fluttershy's close friends are murdered and all the evidence seems to point to a certain draconequus.

AU Fluttercord set eleven years after the first three seasons minus the Discord episodes. Inspired by Discord and Fluttershy's relationship both in the show and several fanfics (*cough* Bride of Discord *cough*) Based loosely on the plot from "The Girl who Played with Fire" by Stieg Larsson. Like the first story, this one has some plot-related Murder Mystery Elements in it so is rated T just to be on the safe side.

After overhearing Fluttershy talk about her crush, Discord makes it his goal to find out who this pony is.

A silly little Fluttercord one-shot

It that special time of year again, Hearth's Warming. Ponies from all over Equestria celebrate by spending time with loved ones and exchanging heartfelt gifts.

However, there's one who never got into the Hearth's Warming spirit. Discord had never in his life ever received anything on this day, but there's a certain timid pegasus that plans to change that.

Discord doesn't know what to do. He knows he has feelings for Fluttershy and wants to tell her everything, but after the Tirek fiasco he doesn't know how to face her. When he runs into Fluttershy late one night, the truth bubbles to the surface, whether he likes it or not.

As the sun sets, and being unable to sleep, Fluttershy attempts to dissect her relationship with her best friend. Though her feelings are clear, Discord's outlandish personality makes her question if he even reciprocates those desires.

Things only get more complicated as the night progresses.

Taking place just after the season 6 finale, Discord and Fluttershy go to Fluttershy's cottage for a little relaxation before parting ways. Discord is somewhat confused by his "waking up" to the fact he probably loves Fluttershy, and is not sure if he should tell her or not.

As a way to further apologize for his deplorable behavior at the Grand Galloping Gala, Discord escorts Fluttershy home in a way that only the Spirit of Chaos can conjure up.

It's been two months since Fluttershy defended her 'princess' from the crowd of mean ponies during her pet adoption event. And yet, Discord is still waiting for her to realize that they've fallen for each other. He's tried his best, but his flirting only seems to make things worse rather than better. He's growing impatient, and he doesn't know what to do.

Meanwhile, Fluttershy has grown troubled over her clashing feelings for Discord and the way he flirts with her. But when she goes on a mission to save a group of innocent souls in need, she finds herself in a troubling situation, alone and in need of help.

Sometimes, a single event is all it takes for a pony to put two and two together.
