A fire of unknown origin begins in the Everfree forest. Quickly, it spreads to the home of the timid pegasus, Fluttershy. She manages to rescue all of her animals, but one. She reaches for a small white rabbit as the supports on the cottage go, and she is rescued by Twilight Sparkle. Her home is gone, and has probably taken her best friend with it. The world has brought poor Fluttershy down. Can Twilight help her get back up?

Princess, Professor, friend. What more could a pony ask for?

Ten years have gone since she met her first true friends, and Twilight Sparkle has begun to find the past weighing upon her. She always knew that her friends would begin to drift apart with time; she understood that those endless Ponyville summers must end one day. Still, even though Twilight has accomplished her dreams, something is keeping her rooted in the past.

But the bustling, decadent nights in Canterlot are made for sharing secrets, and tonight, an old friend is waiting for her among the crowds. Could a familiar face and a guiding hoof be enough to lighten the young princess's burden?

Twilight left for an official trip with Princess Celestia, leaving Rainbow Dash at home, utterly heartbroken. She said she would be gone for a full month, and all that she left for her pegasus was a magical stone, tied to the end of short, golden chain. It is an amethyst pendant, created specifically for her use, and its spell can only be used when the time is right.

After Applejack leaves to deliver a wagon of apples, she stays gone for the whole day. Twilight finds her covered in slime and unconscious on the farm the next morning. When they awaken her, she is gripped with a fear they have never before seen in her. She proves unable to complete the delivery until she consults with her friends, including Zecora, regarding what happened in the Everfree Forest. Told from Apple Bloom's perspective as she watches the ever-strong sister crumble before her, only to be built back up again.

'The Video' is about Princess Twilight Sparkle long after her five friends have deceased. She remembers them telling her to watch a video 20 years after they're gone. Now that the day has come, Twilight decides to watch it. She doesn't know what to really expect, either.
Will it be frightening, happy, or sad?

Applejack is 135 years old and is dying.

For Twilight it is especially hard as she is the last of her friends as the rest have already gone on to the Pasturelands. She's now feeling the full affects of being immortal: the continual loss of friends and love ones. To her immortality seems like a curse.

But a pony from their share past comes to visit and tests her resolve on whether immortality really is a curse.

What did the Sirens long for, before they wanted hatred and misery? Well, isn't it obvious? Everyone wants to be loved.

But who would love a monster?

WARNING: This is not marked gore, but there is a detailed death scene in this fiction. This death is from drowning. You've been warned.

Yet another quiet morning in Ponyville, birds are chirping and a cool breeze runs through the bedroom. When Fluttershy opens her eyes she is surprised to see Pinkie Pie staring at her from the foot of the bed. When she realizes exactly what Pinkie is staring at, things get very awkward, very quickly.
