As Twilight celebrates her first of many centuries to be spent hurtling through time and space, she needs the comfort only a true friend can provide.

Dear Princess Celestia,

I’m sorry I haven’t written in a while. I guess I don’t exactly learn anything Princess-worthy every day. I don’t really think the others do either -write letters that is- but I haven’t exactly talked to them in a while. You can understand why.
I... don’t want this to be a sad letter. I don’t think you need any more sadness in your life, and I’m good too. So this is just a normal letter.

Fluttershy had a family at one point. They sent her to a flying camp and then she fell and discovered Ponyville. But her parents never went after her, and now she's too afraid to go back. Are they even still alive? Does she have a family anymore?

((Hurr durr, since my last two fics were about Twilight, time to make one about Flutters. Flutterick said to make an original sad story. This is the best I can do. I was going to do Rainbow Dash originally, but I decided against it.))

Told from the perspective of the reader listening to Applejack describe the depth of her brother's character by relating a story about how he resolved a conflict between the Apple family and the family of Applebloom's first coltfriend.

As Hearth's Warming nears, Applejack celebrates in her own private way.

Applejack's tenth birthday started out badly. She got in trouble with her mother and father, but at school, the cutest colt in fourth grade suddenly had an interest in her. Will it turn out to be the best birthday ever, or take a turn for the worst? Will the last words Applejack shares with her parents be ugly ones? One mistake could change Applejack's simple life forever.

Takes place after Stare Master. When almost losing Twilight Sparkle to a cockatrice, Apple Bloom becomes afraid of losing Twilight again. Sweetie Belle and Scootaloo tell Twilight about this, Twilight sets up a private conversation between her and Apple Bloom. Can Twilight help make the young filly feel better?

This is my take on the underrated friendship between Twilight Sparkle and Apple Bloom. I'm surprised there aren't any other stories about them together.
