The world spins, years pass, and everything comes to an end. Except Celestia. She sits on the shore of the last ocean, watching and waiting for her own chance at death. Because everything comes to an end if you wait long enough, and Celestia is patient indeed.

The gritty wind blew around the seven as they stood proudly atop the hill, whistling as it passed them by and carrying the overwhelming sound of hissing on its gusts. Below them stood a writhing, black mass with what looked like insect wings jutting from the individual shapes that formed it.

"Hey... girls?" Twilight couldn't keep the quiver out of her voice as she stared into the pure-blue eyes of their foe.

"Yeah, Twi?" Applejack's voice was as steady as ever, if heavy with a sad resignation.

"See you on the other side."

During the aftermath of the changeling invasion, changeling hysteria has hit Equestria. Even Ponyville has had it's brush with this madness. Princess Celestia tells Twilight to create a spell that would make changelings drop their disguises in hopes of ending the hysteria, and test it out on her friends. But one pony is not happy with it.
