A year has passed since the events of What Would Daring Do. The memories of their struggles have bonded Applejack and Rainbow Dash into a union of love. But when those memories are lost, can Applejack find the strength and resolve to save the pony she loves? A broken mind is a catastrophe; a broken heart, tragedy.

The sequel to The AppleDash Project, but that was episodic you can jump right in! All you need to know is:

Applejack and Rainbow Dash have been together for more than a year now. Their relationship has blossomed through Discord, a changeling army, and a whole hoof full of crazy situations and dumb mistakes. They've managed to form a partnership and learned to work out their problems together, not an easy lesson for two tough, stubborn ponies.

But now Rainbow Dash is convinced that their lives are getting boring, and if there's one thing Dash doesn't like, it's boring. So Dash has set out to make her relationship with Applejack more interesting. . . and AJ's not so sure she likes that sound of that.

The AppleDash Project is a series of short fics attached to various episodes, detailing a relationship between Rainbow Dash and Applejack behind the scenes. The stories take place sometime during or shortly after the indicated episode.

Rainbow Dash runs away, but not before confessing her love for Applejack, leaving the orange pony confused. Applejack is intent on finding her friend, and bringing her back safely. Follow along with Applejack as she dives headfirst into the adventure of her life, searching for the one she loves.

Rainbow Dash had grown used to hiding her feelings for her friend until one dream shakes her to the core. Now she is up all hours of the night, unable to eat, sleep or even fly right. However, her pain is nothing compared to the oncoming threat to Ponyville. A griphon regime is rising, vengeance of years of oppression in their eyes. An AppleDash story with a side of chaos.

The crash was bad. Her wings were fractured in many spots. She wasn't going to heal in a couple days. Instead, it was going to take her 6 months. Six months without flying, there was nothing more uncool, unawesome, and unradical. That was until she chose to stay with Applejack and her family. Broken wings left a hole, one that could only be filled, evidently, by Applejack.

Applejack has problems, problems she has never revealed. As a strong, dependable pony, she has always managed to deal with them on her own. But now, having broken down in her friend's presence, she's not so certain of her strength - and more and more troubles appear...

The sequel to Following a Rainbow has finally arrived! Read along as Rainbow's life is thrown into chaos, fighting off the magical forces that created her. Can Applejack save her filly friend from... herself? Caught between two rivaling loyalties, Rainbow finds herself split... literally. Two separate Rainbows seeking two separate dreams, ad one very confused, hurt Applejack.

Rainbow Dash gets an invitation to try out for the Wonderbolts, so it's only fitting that Applejack would agree to watch her practice in preparation for the big day.

But when things don't go according to plan, Applejack realizes that she must take initiative and comfort her downtrodden friend.
