Ever since Flash had his incident, he has been regretting his decision, and is now has the pressure of possibly losing his job he worked so hard for and losing a close spot to his beloved Princess Twilight Sparkle.

Flash is now suffering from depression, and with nopony wanting to talk to him anymore, Flash questions his sanity, and, in what direction will his life go as he struggles to pull himself out of his depression. Just how long will it take for Flash to finally crack, or with somepony help him before that day comes?

Unfortunately, it is against rules to have "feelings" for anypony they protect. If Flash Sentry is caught loving Twilight, it will destroy his reputation he worked so hard to earn, and be stripped of his position as "Royal Guard".

Flash Sentry must battle his own feelings to keep the job he had worked so much for since he was a foal. As time goes on, it becomes more and more difficult to hold back his emotion and on top of this is an abusive Captain who controls the Royal Guard...

Twilight Sparkle, a new ruler in Equestria, has only been a princess for a few weeks. She just returned from an adventure in a new world that she never knew of, but she still doesn't feel ready for life as a leader. On the other hoof, Flash Sentry is just a new member of the Canterlot Royal Guard. As a member of the guard, his job is to protect the three princesses in Canterlot, as well as tour with them wherever they go. He also develops a slight crush on the princess, but is the feeling mutual? As a tradgedy falls upon Canterlot, their true feelings must be revealed to save the world!
