Spike has long felt something missing in his life. More particularly that despite being a Baby Dragon he has never had what most would consider a childhood.

Spike finds solace in surrendering himself to juvenile needs and wants that Twilight does not approve of. This leads to a fight with Spike storming out. Eventually coming across Rarity who is more than willing to give her Spikey-Wikey what he so desires so long as he does not share her feelings and their actions with any pony else.

In the end Spike takes comfort in how the one who has the Element he truly represents does love him for who he is.

This is another adventure in the "Celestia's Chosen" series. This time we find Dawnbreak Horizon and his Duck / Dragon, Yosh, camping in a new land where they hope to initiate positive relations with the locals on behalf of Princess Celestia and Equestria.

A little accident on Yosh's part leaves him alone at the campsite while Dawnbreak visits the local town. During this time he is visited by an Earth Pony to who educates Yosh on what makes their land special.

This story is a sequel to Spike's Gift

Princess Celestia has taken on the task of educating Spike and Yosh while Twilight Sparkle and Dawnbreak Horizon finish their studies at the School for Gifted Unicorns.

As Spike and Yosh continue to grow into their forthcoming responsibilities Twilight and Dawnbreak offer them some special stuffed animals to help inspire them in furthering their education. Though Yosh is not quite as pleased as Spike is with what gift he was provided.

Set to take place during "Look Before You Sleep", Spike the Dragon meets up with a mysterious, yet friendly, unicorn who aspires for greatness.

Seeing his chance to gain wisdom otherwise unattainable, the mysterious unicorn, to whom we later learn is Vitriol Ink, convinces Spike to aid him in exploring sealed off areas of the Royal Canterlot Library. It is here that he discovers tomes of knowledge that will eventually lead him to become one of "Celestia's Chosen" through his own means of magical knowledge.

Spike is over at Rarity's assisting her in the development of her "Winter Fashions" when Rarity notices her young assistant is getting sleepy. This gives her the perfect chance to try out her "Other" line of clothing in which is sure to make mommies and daddies everywhere rejoice!

The overall focus of this story is around creating a "Safe", "Comfortable", and "Relaxing" sensation through the feelings a baby may have. Touch, taste, scent, and sound all work together to lull Spike into the most restful sleep he has ever had while showing how there is a bit of mommy in Rarity.

It was all just a silly little suggestion from Twilight. She couldn't have known how "uncomfortable" the idea was. But Cadence just couldn't bring herself to say no to her favorite filly.

From "Celestia's Chosen", this story would take place between Chapters 1 and 2.

It is Yosh's birthday and, as Spike has learned all too well, that duck beak on Yosh's face has a nasty habit of constantly moving. Something must be done.

Delight in a cute, short story that is focused around the concept that Celestia raised Spike while Twilight did her schooling. Not to mention the possibility that Spike wasn't the only dragon to whom had a destined unicorn to work with to uncover the mysteries of Equestria and beyond!

The series revolves around the concept of how Princess Celestia raised Spike prior to Twilight Sparkle graduating "The School for Gifted Unicorns". However, she is not the only gifted unicorn to be given a dragon assistant.

Celestia's chosen follows the path of Spike, Yosh, Tacki, and Torth, along with their pony friends, as they play their respective parts in making Equestria an even more amazing place.

Cuteness, comedy, and a detailed plot make this series a delight to read as journeys beyond Equestria are explored while Spike and Twilight work on learning the magic of friendship.

After a few days of suffering from bedwetting and a visit to the doctor, Babs Seed finds herself staring at a package on her bed and tries to figure out whether worse things have happened to her.

Worse things probably have happened, but drama is always a good thing, right?
