On a seemingly normal day in Ponyville, Twilight is extremely excited when she finds Pinkie Pie deeply enthralled with a calculator, writing down what appears to be very advanced algorithms.

Twilight is determined to find out what said algorithms mean, and what mathematic talent her friend may possess that she never knew of before.

Rarity has just bought a new television, and Sweetie Belle can't wait to spend the day surfing through the more than one-thousand channels. After a while of this monotonous task, Sweetie Belle starts to get bored.

But that changes when she and her friends discover one channel, a channel that will shock them to their very core.

This is a short little story I did on request because I couldn't sleep. Comments and stars always appreciated. This is probably the closest to shipping I've gotten in my life.

Author's Note: This story was written before The Cutie Mark Chronicles revealed Pinkie Pie's origin story, so now it conflicts with canon. Seriously, who saw 'Amish Rock Farm' coming? Anyway, I still think it's a fun story, and it has special meaning to me since I'm a chef-in-training myself. Enjoy.

A thousand years ago, it was foretold that Nightmare Moon would return in a thousand years. Two years after those events, Twilight Sparkle was informed that one thousand years ago, Luna and Celestia defeated King Sombra. But other, less known events happened one thousand years ago as well. This is one of them. One thousand years ago, Celestia held a council meeting in preparation for the one thousand year celebration of the Royal Sisters' reign.

Every movie needs conflict. This is done by adding an antagonist to the plot. Black Pearl auditioned for a film that had a lot of famous names in it, hoping that he could benefit from their fame and reputation. However, the character he was assigned to star as was far from noteworthy.

It's a very important day for Rainbow Dash, and all she has to do is bake a cake. The only problem is, she's never baked a cake before.

Rarity has no idea what to make of this dress for her newest client. This client is an important one, and Rarity is really stress out. She's close to giving up on the whole thing, when Twilight and Spike come in unexpectedly and shower her with praise, hoping to get her creative juices flowing again.
