Tom looked down at a cup of water in his hand, sighing “I picked a hell of a day to quit drinking.” - missing punctuation, probably a period, after sighing.
Rarity chuckled and nodded, “Indeed. Listen I'll be back in a couple of hours after I run some errands. I’ll leave you the remote. Try not to go overboard with the TV while I’m gone.” Rarity said with a slightly lyrical tone to her voice, levitating the remote over to Sweetie Belle’s side. - probably want the comma after nodded to be a period, since you've got the Rarity said right afterwards.
And speaking of the Rarity said, one thing you may wish to fix, grammar-wise, throughout the story, is your conversations. When you've got a word like said, replied, etc, after a quoted bit, you replace a period before the end quotation mark with a comma. So in this case, the period after gone should be a comma.
