My surprise was genuine when I first got that invitation while picnicking with my friends.

I felt an uncomfortable mix of feelings as I read those words. Foremost was a sense of betrayal. But quick on the heels of that initial reaction came another feeling. One that made me even more confused and upset: jealousy.

Twilight Sparkle is the smartest student in Princess Celestia's school, but her awkwardness and poor social skills have ruined her chances of having any sort of dating life. Can she overcome her problems and find the perfect stallion? Will her older brother Shining Armor help or hurt her chances for love, as she goes on her first date ever?

This story takes place in Canterlot, about six months before the first episode of Friendship is Magic.

Scootaloo and Diamond Tiara are two hot-blooded ponies who often quarrel. In other words, they couldn't have been less right for one another. So then, why does every pony seem to think that they are in love with each other?! At first, they both detest the idea of being gossiped about as a couple, but after they finally stop fighting long enough to try to get to know each other, new feelings begin to bloom within the two of them.

At long last, the wedding bells ring for Applejack and Fluttershy. Everypony does their utmost to try to make it the best wedding ever, but as the pair discovers, it quickly becomes a question of getting married despite, rather than because of this.

This story is a standalone, but is set after the events of Where Earth Meets Sky and Where Your Heart Is.

When Twilight arranges a group camp-out, the ponies end up discussing their dream stallions around the campfire. Everyone is surprised by what they learn about each other, and the two ponies least interested in romance find they have a lot in common.

Originally written in February of 2011 and posted first to /co/ then EqD, this was my first story and one of the original pieces of TwiDash.
