Oh no guys I don't know if I can survive that long.
Here is what I got banned for:
#4 Don't upload illegal content
Anything illegal in the United Kingdom or France (where our servers and backups are located) will be removed promptly, and the uploader banned without warning. We're not interested in hosting 'borderline' material which is not outright illegal but is still legally dubious. To ensure compliance we also remove all photographic explicit content featuring individuals whose age cannot be verified. As such we proactively remove material that is questionable in the eyes of the law.
Where appropriate and possible, uploaders who submit illegal content will have their details passed on to relevant law enforcement authorities.
The irony is that I never uploaded anything to derpibooru. Ever. Not even comments. I just used it to fave cool pics and porn.

well, it was mostly a big misunderstanding, but I had apparently asked a question that made one of the admins suspicious. It was when I was new to the forum, and she was telling me about a member who was supposedly the 'best member ever' on the forum. I casually asked 'does anyone know where he lived or anything?' without really thinking about it, meant to ask like if anyone knew him personally irl but...yeah it came out wrong, lol.
anyways, Admin kept tabs on me and kept asking me questions. We got into talking about Pokemon XD: Gale of darkness and she asked me if I caught pikachu or something in it. I was tired at the time so I casually said "oh yeah, I did"
turns out, Pikachu isn't obtainable in XD. The admin figured I was lying and banned me on that premise.

More than likely you shared an ip with someone else who was banned. I can check if you like.
In fact I had alook, there haven't been any new rule 4 bans for about a month, so its likely your isp assigned you the ip address previously used by a rules violator.

Well you know, there is always Octabooru and 20% which is an offshoot of ...I believe it was e621? Also as a bonus neither really answer DNPs, octabooru simply doesn't, so great for archiving, and 20% is mostly barren, which means low SEO which means nobody KNOWS to ask for DNP! Win/win!
The only prob with OB is currently they have few tags, they hosted tags separately to save on hits/reqs stress, and the server that's on went down (along with 14 others). They're somewhat at the mercy of shitty hosts unfortunately. (enom, pls stay away from those guys unless you're an important enuf business to strongarm them.)

Might be mostly dupes, but sometimes you get lucky and find the fullsize version of an artist that's left's pic, when DB has only the DA preview size (900x###) because their uploaders are all retards. Found a larger version of one of the Loki crossover pics for instance, which I posted to pbooru, then someone else posted to DB. We need more inter-postial interaction between boorus! Don't put all yer eggs in the basket that's full of holes!
I feel like archonix is right, yesterday I had been on my computer searching around on derpibooru, wasn't banned, but when the power went out I switched to my phone and logged in, and was instantly banned for having 80+ alt accounts and something like 8-9K charges of I think it was vote fraudulence? (guessing it meant someone using multiple accounts to upvote something multiple times), then when the power came back on later it didn't say I was banned on either my computer or my phone.
