Princess Luna has never heard of Hearts and Hooves Day. It's hard to believe, but when you've been gone a thousand years, you tend to miss a few things here and there. Eager to learn about the holiday and what a "date" is, she's recommended to see Rarity to see what all there is to dating. The fashionista's solution? A practice date. However, by the end of the night, the two might drop the "practice" in practice date.

Luna has seen the dreams of ponies for centuries now. Happy dreams, sad dreams, dreaming of a secret crush, memories of a lost love, all that one can imagine. They all reflect the pony doing the dreaming, and sometimes she goes in to assist them in their problems.

But when she goes into the dream of Twilight Sparkle one night, the most beautiful sight is waiting for her inside.

After discovering Sunny Town and its dark secret, Apple Bloom flees with zombies in hot pursuit. One of the Sunny Towners try to protect her and allow her escape. Apparently, it isn't enough. Twilight comes to the rescue, only to see poor Apple Bloom face a horrible death at the hooves of her attackers. Apple Bloom becomes one of them, and is now forced to live as one of the Blanks. She didn't want this. How will she deal with the new life, and how will Ponyville take the devastating news, especially the victim's own sister?

This story is based off Donitz's Story of the Blanks. It takes place in the middle of Season 2.

Note: The [Gore] tag only applies to Chapter 1, and even then, it's only light gore. Nothing like Cupcakes or anything like that. It's a T-rated fic anyway.

Discord is bored. He's really bored. He needs some entertainment in his life. But ever since being reformed, his time spent has been nothing but dreadful. He's all alone, up on some tower looking out at Equestria wondering what would've become of it if a little chaos appeared here and there. That's all he ever wanted. A little chaos. It was time for Discord to take up writing, and what better writing is there than stories that are true? There's really nothing wrong with a bit of romance between ponies, right? With Discord as the author, what could possibly go wrong?

Inspiration can be found anywhere. You just have to look hard enough. However, even the most complex of things can be found right in front of you. That is a lesson Rarity must learn when she can't seem to think of a good design to please her clients. All she needed was a small break from the norm to look deeper into what was already in front of her. The lesson she learns comes from a surreal source, one she did not expect.

The land of Saddle Arabia, where Twilight ends up getting more then she bargained for when she's given a beautifully crafted bottle made just for her. Spike and Twilight find themselves in a situation they never thought was ever going to happen. And with such limited time, Twilight has to make the hardest decision of her entire life.
