"...what did I just even read." - Wintermist || "Pour la beauté du geste" || ooo || π

Celestia, now completely controlled by her evil side, has defeated her sister and trapped the World in an everlasting day, and plans to rule over it as Supreme Empress Daybreaker. She has trapped the Crystal Empire, and made any form of communication impossible for Twilight. The Cutie Map calls for the young princess and her friends to stop this disaster before it's too late.

There is a strong argument to be made towards the Map's lack of a proper understanding of priorities.

This story is a sequel to All along

Celestia thought she knew herself. She was sure that nothing could surprise her anymore. She was certain that there was nothing more that she could possibly be hiding from herself.
One attempt to identify a changeling presence in the royal guard later, she was coming to terms with how reality had decided to prove her wrong.

Twilight and her friends are having lunch together. As she's eating, Rainbow Dash asks something to Twilight. Clearly, a long rant about the qualities of a certain porn story and about why she should read it is the appropriate answer to the request. Or at least, Twilight thinks it is.

Deep, deep below the city of Canterlot, the facility has slept for hundreds of years. There was never a reason for someone to go there. But now, Twilight has agreed to take Celestia's place as the one who shall carry things out should the worst happen. And that means she must be made aware of the procedures she will need to go through. It's for the good of Equestria, and the whole world, after all.

Alicorn physiology is a fascinating thing. Their manes and tails, in particular, at least those of the most powerful ones, have a tendency to float and billow on their own, as a result of the intense magic present in their bodies. This same magic has, however, very different effects on other, less visible parts of their bodies. Effects that, unfortunately, Twilight had not been made aware of before she had to use such powers. She was not particularly happy about that.

This story is 100% Wintermist's fault.

Sunset was simply curious, at first, and it really hadn't been anything more than a way to start the conversation. Twilight's reaction, though, had definitely piqued, and she wasn't going to let the matter slide away so easily now that things had turned out like that. Though she certainly didn't expect such a coincidence.

This story is a sequel to Celestia is still a Spider and Chrysalis hasn't been Informed

The day prophesied to be that of Sombra's return is nearing. The Cutie Map has sent Twilight and Rarity on a mission to Canterlot, and the two can't seem to find the problem. A mysterious force lurks in the background, trying to stop the purple alicorn. Time is quickly running out, and Rarity is the only one who can figure out what's happening and put a stop to it before it's too late,

Also, Celestia is a giant spider, but when you look at it that fact isn't really all that important in the scheme of things.

This story is a sequel to Celestia is still a Spider and Chrysalis hasn't been Informed

Celestia is a spider. That is the one truth, the one irrefutable principle that rules over Equestria. Society, as it is known to modern ponykind, is built and shaped by this and this alone. No one, not a single pony or creature, dares challenge the notion that she who moves the Sun has eight legs, six eyes, two fangs, and is in fact a giant spider. For it is the truth, and everyone knows it.

Headless Pony Expresses His Opinions
Local princess is outraged by the fact

"It's nonsense," the Princess states, "he can't think, how is he allowed to have an opinion?"
After numerous editorials published on The Broken Knot, the headless author seems to have incurred the wrath of Ponyville's local purple alicorn. She claims he cannot form an opinion, being a being deprived of a brain and therefore incapable of thought, and that the statements made in his articles are always wrong, and often-times harmful. No official response has come yet. <full story inside>

They would keep up their pointless fight, and he would keep watching, without intervening. It was a pointless fight, he knew that. He should have just ignored them altogether, but he couldn't bring himself to do it. At the very least, she was still there, so he wasn't alone anymore.
