Picnic
Fluttershy sat down next to Rarity. "Thank you for... um coming over Rarity. I wasn`t sure if you wanted to have some tea. I know that you like your tea parties so I didn`t know if you like coming to other pony`s tea parties..." Rarity giggles.
"I`m having a lovely time. So, you told me that you wanted me to come over to see something special." Fluttershy picked up Angel Bunny and put him on the table.
"Angel is having his first date and I need you to make an outfit for them." Rarity`s eyes widened and she was filled with excitement.
"His first date! Aw! How cute! Who is this lucky bunny?!"
"Buttercup." Rarity cocked her head.
"I`m so sorry darling, but who is Buttercup?" Fluttershy pointed a hoof over to the adorable, milk chocolate brown bunny.
"She is um... Buttercup."
"She`s simply gorgeous! Her eyelashes are perfect and she has the best fur ever! Her eyes are so cute and sparkly! May I hold her?" Fluttershy nodded.
Rarity walked over to Buttercup and began petting her softly. The little bunny nuzzled her hoof.
"Awwwwwwwwww~!" Rarity picked her up and put her next to Angel.
The two of got closer to each other and then began holding paws. They looked into each other`s eyes and nose nuzzled. Their tails were intertwined and everything.
"Fluttershy! THIS IS THE CUTEST POSSIBLE THING!" Rarity walked over to Fluttershy`s sewing supplies. She grabbed a crayon and a quill. She drew a simple, light pink, Spring dress for Buttercup and a nice white shirt with a black tie for Angel. Rarity added a bow to the dress and a little pocket to the shirt. She erased a few lines and fixed a few things. Once everything was perfect she began sewing.
There was not a base for rabbits so she had to do it freehoof which was a new challenge to her. Rarity began using Fluttershy`s limited supplies, there was enough, just not the extra she usually had near her. She sewed them with precision and accuracy. They were magnifique (French for magnificent)!
Fluttershy put an excited bunny into her dress easily. Angel, on the other hand, was not so happy to get all dressed up. "Angel Bunny, you need to dress up for your date! You would look so um... handsome! Please?" Angel stared into Fluttershy`s begging teal eyes and he couldn`t refuse her. Fluttershy put him into his shirt and had to give him the stare to make him stop fidgeting long enough to put on his tie.
Rarity looked at the two and beamed. We must start their date! They must really be in love."
"Okay Rarity." She turned to the bunnies. "Go outside, I have something special out there for you." They looked at one another and then ran as fast as their little paws could carry them to get to their surprise.
Outside was a picnic for them. There were two, large, extra leafy salads, some wheat bread, some nuts and a few different types of berries. There was also one sugar cube for each of them.
They looked at their meal with hunger, but decided that it wouldn`t be a proper date if they did that. Angel Bunny waved to Fluttershy and Rarity, thus telling them that they were about to start.
Angel smoothed out a section of the picnic blanket and she sat down happily. She patted down next to her so he sat down as well. She rested her head on his shoulder.
They started eating the berries. Buttercup picked one up and put it into Angel`s mouth. Angel returned the gesture by feeding her a berry. They took turns feeding each other the various berries. Buttercup made a point to give Angel the blueberries, his favorite and Angel made sure that he gave Buttercup the raspberries because those were the ones that she loved eating the most. At some point a food fight started and they began throwing berries at one another playfully.
Angel accidentally flung one at his date. Most people would be horrified, yet he found it funny and he was sort of devilish. Playing by the rules was not his forte.
Buttercup was not some prissy bunny. She aimed right back at him. The two of them began throwing and dodging berries. The two of them were competitive so they both fought with all of their might. Soon, the berries began to deplete so they couldn`t fight anymore. You can`t exactly win a food fight so Angel pretended to receive an award and held her paw up high as well. Meaning that they both did it, together.
Once they were out of berries they began nibbling on the same piece of bread. Purposely going for the same parts so that they could kiss or nuzzle and sharing nicely. Angel and Buttercup would make little shapes in the bread and draw things with their claws on it. They had barely finished three quarters of it when they decided to start eating their salads.
The two of them were still ravished so they munched happily. Taking every free moment to smile at the other. Angel challenged her to an eating contest by stuffing a large piece of bread in his mouth and acting like people were praising him. Meaning that he was saying that he would beat her in an eating contest. Charades was a natural way of speaking for them. They began eating really fast to see who could finish their bowl first. They used their paws to scoop large amounts of leaves and veggies into their tiny mouths. Surprisingly, Buttercup won and she got the prize of a kiss on the forehead.
The bunnies began eating some nuts while looking at the clouds. Angel pointed to a picture of a beach ball. Buttercup stared at it in awe until a star cloud caught her attention. They looked at a variety of cloud shapes and just plain, boring, cumulus clouds. Their was even a picture of a rabbit, a heart and of a salad leaf. What a coincidence?!
Buttercup and Angel still had their sugar cubes, but they wanted to save those. Angel hopped over to Fluttershy and pointed at the shallow pond.
"Oh, alright, but be careful! Don`t leave our sight!" Buttercup ran up to the water and did an awesome cannonball. Angel ran up to it at a higher speed and distance and nearly doubled the size of her cannonball. He flew through the air at an incredible speed and and soared through the air.
Buttercup shot a large quantity of water at him with her paw. Angel shot right back. The two soaking bunnies began splashing each other with the cool water. The two fought for a while, but once again there is no winning until somebunny surrenders and that was clearly not going to happen. Angel took off swimming laps towards the other end and waved his paw signaling for her to join. The two of them started off swimming nicely, but they love competition... and occasionally stubbornness. They`re perfect for each other. They had an epic splash contest and race. Buttercup won the race with her agility and gracefulness. Angel and Buttercup shook dry and then took a little walk around the backyard.
The two rabbits smiled at each other and then popped the sugar cubes into their mouths. Their mouths were filled with joy and delight spread across their adorable faces.
After they finished their date they kissed and walked back into the cottage arm in arm with huge smiles on their faces.
"So, how was it?" The two bunnies jumped up and down happily. "I am going to take that as a um... yes."
"You two were so cute and you work together so well!" The two bunnies blushed, but was basically only visible on Angel.
"So, are you two official?" Rarity looked at her friend in shock, that was something that she, a fashionista/gossiper, would say. Angel and Buttercup answered the question with a loving gaze at one another and a romantic kiss. These two bunnies had a long road ahead of them filled with kisses and paw holding.

2607677 I know that it`s not the best, but I wasn`t aiming for the best. I just wanted my idea of a short and cute story to be written out. Also, I tried to add detail. Sure, it could be better, but I like it. Nice example for a sentence by the way. I think that Rarity and Fluttershy etc. would speak/act that way, it`s just what I imagine them being like. Angel may act a little bit different than the show, but he`s in love and love make people crazy or crazy happy.

Well thats not a problem, its good you wrote it out, but can still seek to make it better, but to me it feels like rarity had a little too much coffee. She is normally a little more chilled and relaxed, You dont have to make fixes or anything just giving constructive criticism. and I understand the Love makes people crazy. but its rarity that really stood out of character. anyway, its your story, im just giving my thoughts if you ever want to improve. and btw if you want you can take my Example and use it if you want.

Rabbits can swim?
3045784 Yes, they can swim in water. It needs to be at the correct temperature and preferably water without chlorine. They also cannot be in for a long period of time for if they are in to long it may cause their skin to get dry and or shrivel up slightly (like when a human stays in for too long and their fingers look weird). Also, the rabbit would have to like it or it would jump out. Here`s a video of one!

In this video the bunny is in rather deep, chlorine filled water which is a bad idea. The water should be rather shallow as well. A rabbit could swim in chlorine filled, deep, freezing cold water for a long period of time, but it would need to be cleaned and possibly taken to a vet afterwards. A solid fact is that bunnies can swim, they know how by instincts.
