You know, this could be a start to a bigger, more drawn out story. Perhaps you could expand this to accommodate a somewhat adventurous plot line; what do you think? It'd be an interesting experience to see Sweetie become the next Twilight Sparkle in my opinion.
EDIT: Now that I've looked at your user page, I can see you actually intend to continue with this general concept. Just make sure to be more descriptive and precise in your writing. It'd help readers identify with your characters if you actually put little more drama into your stories.
