Griffin being reasonable is like saying Aoi can handles his booze, Zeta gives all of his money to the poor, Ivan is actually a psychologist, and Khajiit is the luckiest of all the Pieces.
Grif won't be reasonable.
Bet: Griffin will be 'reasonable'(as he is now). And then he will become unreasonable.
WHAT THE HOLY OTHER WORLDLY ACTUAL FUCK? Ringo is now best zombie pony! Now I must go my doors need me! That may or may not make sense sometime within the next month I'm not sure... I still haven't decided weather or not to start writing agian mostly because I want in on the Chess game of the Gods universe but I don't think I'm good enough to make the cut. Anyway you my friend have created a B-E-A-utiful story here and I have enjoyed immensely, can't wait for the next chapter.
50 internets on not being reasonable
~Reggie
Griffin won't be reasonable? Pfft, all he has to do is abandon his old plan, put his trust into someone who captured his family and take a little old leap down a well that leads to the underworld.
3594119 So what you're saying is... It's something he might have done anyway?
Why the fuck didn’t Ringo tell her all this shit to start with?
Fia = "Oh yea, I just murdered your crew 'Family' intend on killing you yourself and have threatened your unborn son, but you really need to trust me and throw yourself into hell itself so I don't die..."
Griffin
If Griffin is made aware of the gambit, then he will probably be reasonable. In the last story? He wouldn't. He has come a long way since Griffin the Griffin.
3594292 Dude ain't perfect. He wanted to see if Fia would do the right thing, and she didn't. Did you miss the part about 'Relic of the past, not to interfere with the present'? It's not his world any longer.
I say griffin will see the logic, mostly. But will say fuck that and try to escape.
He probably won't be reasonable at first, but Fia might be able to help him see reason.
My bet is that Griffon will be reasonable, and by reasonable, I mean going absolutely bat-shit crazy on her. "So, you are asking me, Griffon, King of an entire country, captain of the most famous gang of pirates to ever live, and the one who has been the closest to annihilating all slavery and racism on the planet, and soon-to-be father, to jump down a small well that goes strait into the underworld, the realm of the dead. You also don't want to forget that the first thing that I am going to see in the underworld is me crashing face-first into the River of Pain, and the only reason I might live is that I am a 'descendent of Hades'. Yeah, how about no. " I find this to be completely reasonable.
Griffin being reasonable...isn't he always? ...I think I'll take the bet that he'll be reasonable, but still mostly upset. I bet...15k of bits.
Damnit... just when this story starts to get me really interested again it manages to confuse me again. Ughh... I love the story but sometimes I just get too lost to keep reading it at all.
Honestly? I kind of want to see Fia pull a Batman-esque type of gambit. She already knows that Griffin has something planned;granted, the complete and utter destruction of everything she holds dear isn't what she has in mind. If she really believes that all he is trying to do is escape, then she has the option to lay all her cards on the table, and in doing so, offer them both a way out.
On the other hand Grif's ace in the hole is still essentially a wild card. The pigs may have been able to handle just a single group, but all of the major players in the Dominion? That might have thrown a bit of a wrench in the works, even if the entire plan entailed them being slaughtered. If they can't even make it far enough inside to really cause some havok so that Grif can escape, what use are they?
Alternatively, it could be the exact opposite of a problem. With all the head honchos in one spot, why not simply kill all of them off in one fell swoop? (insert Inglorious Basterds quote here) With their leadership in shambles, the other dens would either be easy pickings due to the inevitable internal power struggles or would fall in line out of fear.
I'd like to think that Grif isn't so much reasonable, but more along the lines of methodical. In a "risk-vs-reward" situation, he would probably at least hear her plan out instead of dismissing it entirely. At the very least, should the pigs be slaughtered too quickly for him to make off, then her plan would serve as a good backup.
Or I could have simply read the last few chapters wrong and missed some key point entirely.
WHAT THE HELL? Why let you Elsweyer die?
I liked this romance side story
Knowing Griff, he either just heard everything, or will be quite reasonable... after a lot of stuff goes boom.
"Then, bring death the the other clan leaders."
Boop. One fix coming right up!
$50 says griffin's answer will be aw HAIL NAW
This is getting CRAAAZZZAAAYYY
Hade is griffins chess master, am I correct
3595747 Actually, you're right on the ball! Kudos!
3595561 Yes, unfortunately, it tends to do that. I had some story I wanted to put in, and I really had no other method of doing it and explaining things that needed to be explained than having a character who knows all this shit 'because reasons'. I did intend to have Ringo be this kind of undead guy after I decided to make Fia the alpha, but let's just say that Ringo has his own motivations for having Griffin and Fia go to the underworld, and while it would be 'in their best interests' he does get something from it.

Yay. Do I get a cookie? A new chapter would be fine as well. I kid. Take as much time as you need to get this little masterpiece moving along.
3595931 SHH! Secrets! SECRETS!
3597817
ehehe... sorry.
I was honestly expecting Griffin to appear telling Ringo he heard everything at the end there.
I believe Griffin will be reasonable. He always has been and he always will.
Being such a well-spoken character of such a beautiful past, I do believe that he will be calm and listen to her demands. He certainly is quite the gentleman with his foes anyway.
coughsarcasmcough
hummmm
no gamble here, depends on witch side of reason he stands on
3593851 Actually, that last one is true.
Ahah! Echo the Diamond Dog described the River Archeron/Styx much the same.
Anyways, My Theory, Ringo is probably on the Same level of wisdom as Celestia. Thus, he probably knows more than he is letting on about going into The Underworld. Do we get to see our Favorite Residents Ahuizotl and Frosty, the Mayor of Wethoof?
Besides that, I doubt Griffin will go in without some hesitation, but Griffin being the Brilliant Strategist he is, He may just do it.
Will he Be Reasonable about this? Most likely not, due to the fact he willingly went into a (Tampered) Trap, and his Entire goal is to get them out SAFELY.
3602539 That's assuming he even hears her plan. His plan goes off when the Wild Hogs attack. She may not be able to even talk with him before that occurs. If she suddenly asks him to talk, only a day or so before his plan takes place, it may seem far too suspicious, in a kind of 'she knows what's up' way, which would put pressure on him to act ahead of schedule. Besides, he's not exactly the kind to sacrifice himself for something. Normally he finds a way to get what he wants while giving up the bare minimum, which is the most preferable case, is nothing. All gain, no loss, low risk, high reward. And the risk and cost of him going with Fia's plan, if he even hears it, would be a standard higher, because he has to have faith in someone who has been trying to kill him, based on the testimony of some dog that's apparently over 3000 years old. That's also part of why I wanted to make Ringo's plan somewhat confusing, because it increases the odds of a 'You're crazy if you think I'll believe you.'
3604668
I'm Assuming The Least Likely Situation, as that what he typically Succeeds at doing.
Griffin behaves and probably holds a grudge.
Hmm, I still want the dead cats to not be dead..... Also, Griffin and Fia ahould join forces against the bad alphas, take them down, save the other dogs and slaves who are being controlled by their power, and bring peace to all the tribes...
3639859 a long friggin time ago.
3613014 then what about the hogs?
Too late, old guy.
To quote from The Wheel Of Time: "Let the Lord of Chaos rule!" *Dark laughter*
