Astonishingly silly and hot. Popping is such a niche little kink, and it leaves little room to be picky about it; but you did a great job delivering well above the minimum acceptable. Checklisty, "how do we give all of the mane six a scene" fics are dangerous, but you managed to give all of them cute differing emotional reactions and methods of inflation. The malicous, self-confident energy of Rouge Dash is great — I can tell how much practice and fun you have with it — and all the little meta teases of how her universe is different from canon is nice.

Assuming they're operating in good faith it seems at least nine people disagree with that assessment(!)

Largely down to the client having specific things they wanted to see for each Elements, but I did use it as an excuse to slip some Rouge Dashie-verse stuff in there, yeah.

Thank you! My entire thesis for the character (beyond Dash's colours looking great with Rouge's suit) is that Rouge and Dash can be read as similar characters at different ends of the action lady spectrum, so getting to write her as a far more malicious prankster and so more closer to her canon self was a lotta fun.

Almost every fic gets a decent number of bad faith drive-by downvotes on concept; and the more pornographic and/or niche you are, the higher that value will be. Only 9 feels practically generous for how weird and self-assertive this premise is, honestly; if you go scroll through new stories in the fetish tag. Don't stress about it too much.
