So I liked it, but Capper kind of trails on and off and uses a bunch of words that aren't really necessary.
Not only is it a pain to follow and drags the scene on for way too long, but does it not feel like Capper to talk like that.
Maybe work a little on your dialogue a little in the future.
If your looking to fill the word quota, a outing for Breakfast might provide some extra words to say in between the scene descriptions and setup.
