Grey, a magic obsessed griffon, moves to Ponyville to pursue his dream of being a wizard. But is it really possible? His experiences in Griffonstone have made him less sure that it is, but he's taking a leap of faith anyway.

I genuinely adore how this is made, idk why it makes me so happy and I wanna see the rest of his story
I love where you're going with this so far, the way you portrayed his new friendship and his anxieties about moving to ponyville work really well, and are incredibly realistic with situations I've been in that kinda line up. I'm so excited for chapter 3
WOW this was adorable. Even the ponies that appeared for, like, one or two lines were written pretty accurately, and (knowing you lol /lh) I'm not shocked at how well you did Twilight IMO. Cheers to this victory for Grey, and here's hoping that he's got many more lined up!

I'm not only charmed when I read this but I'm also reminded of when I first got into the fandom when I was just 12 or so. The feeling I got from reading fics then is the same feeling I get now reading yours, and it's a very welcome shock to my system! I'm very much in love with Grey's character! While some might call it a weakness that he's so in-over-his-head, he's so reckless, he's so naive, I think that's what makes his character interesting and why I'm rooting for him in the first place. It's a strength to have someone headstrong, who spent his literal last bit of money pursuing a pipe dream, who everyone in his life has told him will fail, and even he has internalized this to a point where he doesn't believe it'll pan out.
It's been such a wonderful read so far, and I must say that every character, however briefly they have appeared, has been written in such a natural way that it only reinforces my earlier statement about it feeling like I'm reading fics for the first time again! I'm loving this so far, and I cannot wait to continue the journey alongside Grey! Hopefully as lucky as he's gotten with Twilight's generosity is as lucky as he'll eventually get with magic!
I'm liking this story. This is inspiring me to do one of my own storie with a Griffon OC but I don't know where to start
But still, I am liking this and can't wait to read more. Also is there going to be any shipping? Just wondering.
Knowing Zecora’s backstory in the Season 10 comics, I really want Grey and her to meet. They are going to meet in this story, right?
