An unpopular series for obvious reasons (Though I'd bet some people have the fetishes involved), but if you hold aside the particulars of your implementation which really trigger folks, it is quite a valid analogy and critique of modern society (regardless of which country these days); feels very 1984 and the illusion of choice is more real than it ever has been; so much manufactured consent and political astroturfing that most people can't comprehend the gordian knot of a psycological trap they are in. If you keep that part of it and perhaps choose a different subject matter at the surface level, you've got a diamond in the rough there.

I'm definitely curious to see where you'd take this.

I want to know what choice Rainbow eventually makes. Not really because fetish reasons but because of curiosity.

this setting doesn't even make sense. Why are *those* the choices? You have one that makes you permanently disabled with no upside, one that grotesquely disfigures your body, presumably in a way that *SOME* people find attractive, but that's a lot of inconvenience to go through for some other people to have something to drool over.

And then the third option, "have your head remove (sic) and reattached." So, what, they take it off, put it back on, and that's it? Why?

Like, literally what purpose does that serve? And why doesn't EVERYONE pick that one, since it's the only one that doesn't dramatically alter your appearance? Why does anyone have to make this mind-numbingly stupid decision anyway?

(I mean, I know why, and it's because the author gets off on the premise, but like, if you *have* to shoehorn your weird amputee fetish into something, and you don't want to just commission porn of it like everyone else, couldn't you at least take the time to try and come up with a setting where it actually makes SOME amount of sense?)

Like, fuck, I don't know, instead of a nonsensical Handmaid's Tale plot, maybe it's an monster AU. Dullahans are already a thing (read: headless horsemen, with or without horses), and you have zombies that can be dismembered without feeling pain or being hindered by it. There's also Frankenstein monsters, if you like the "Mr. Potato Head" aspect. A ghost inhabiting a doll that has, like a face and stuff, but not necessarily moving limbs.

And that's just off the top of my head; if you really wanted to, I'm sure you could come up with something that fits your purposes and is at least SOMEWHAT logical, rather than just "everyone in this world conforms to my fetishes because beans"
