Interesting AU. Not quite looking forward to character deaths, as mentioned in the summary, but that's only because I'm not a huge fan of character death in general. However, I will keep an eye on this one, I really want to see the direction this is going

This will be the first story I've written in which I kill off characters. Most of the time killing a character off is meant as shock value or because a writer can't figure out what to do with them, but since this is a dark mafia AU I figured it would make sense to have murders. Each murder in this fic has a purpose that builds toward the final climax, and won't begin for a few more chapters.

Nice chapter. And don't worry I don't mind a bit of Flash/Sunset. Personally, I think the writers should have done more with him, other than love interest in the first movie. I mean seriously, he went out with Sunset before she reformed, he probably had to deal with her "mood swings", you gotta give him credit for that. (Sorry for the slight rant)

It certainly is the human version of Prince Blueblood. Trevor Hood is, of course, Trenderhoof, less because I actually ship them and more because I wanted the guy she got with in that scene to be from Crystal Prep in the films. The Crystal Prep students based on ponies were underutilized and could've had some characterization as well. Like Filthy Rich: he got characterization that was very different from his pony counterpart, but that made him an interesting minor antagonist in LoE.
