Highly recommended that you read the other books in this series. This is book 4, the final book in this long journey.
Sometimes the journey is the reward. Not this time around. After Twilight solved Nightmare Moon's situation and she has recovered the reputation of female chefs around Equestria and the world.
Twilight's long journey has come to an end, as she sets up a place and settles down. This book is the end to "The chef's..." and Twilight will officially be titled with "Equestria's most influential chef."

VERY good job on the first chapter of the fourth/final book in this series. Definitely appreciated the work that went into the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up. VERY MUCH appreciated the discussion between Vinyl and Octavia concerning the gig at Twilight's new cafe, the flashback to when Twilight helped Vinyl by providing Octavia with a new cello AND Apple Bloom mentioning Scootaloo getting sick off Sweetie Belle's "cooking" (yeah, hopefully Twilight will be able to provide Sweetie Belle with at least a few helpful pointers). Also liked Twilight asking Applejack for another metric tons of apples and the reason for it as well as the greater detail on the gig mentioned earlier in the review and Twilight getting so wrapped up in her preparations that she ended up getting home late, something Spike is already lecturing her on.
Most certainly looking forward to more of this.
Sorry I took a while getting back to you on this, but I DID appreciate and enjoy the effort that went into this chapter. Again, the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up are all well done. Definitely appreciated Twilight figuring out how much work and energy went into running a cafe and VERY MUCH liked Derpy offering to help out. Octavia finding out that the gig was a fake - yeah, I don't blame her for being upset. But at least Vinyl is willing to provide support there.
All in all, quite certainly looking forward to more of this.

VERY good work on the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up here. This took a while, but was certainly well worth the wait. Now Twilight and Spike got a bit of a start on their discreet investigation concerning Muffins's contract, thanks in part to Rainbow. And, yeah, I can definitely understand how somebody might try to avoid shipping, but it still slips in from time to time and appreciate the note on that.

Definitely liked this latest chapter. The exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up are all beautifully done. Very much liked the dialogues between Octavia and Vinyl as well as the stuff concerning Muffins and Fluttershy concerning Rainbow's behavior and Muffins' talk with Twilight concerning the stuff about the unwanted "princess status" and the downsides to it.

REALLY loved the White Knights' reactions to the evidence that was gathered against them as well as how that evidence was gathered and the votes on the severe, but much deserved, punishment. Especially liked how Twilight made back-up plans that ultimately (and thankfully) weren't needed.

Once more some really good work on the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up. Absolutely loved Twi helping Muffins out with her family reunion as well as finding out some of the reasons for Muffins' family issues, including the dialogues with some of the relatives. And, as Twilight pointed out, power is a double-edged sword (when used correctly, it can help out a lot of others, but there is the danger of corruption).

VERY good job on the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up in all the right places. The dialogue between Twilight and Muffins's family was well done making several excellent points, including how diplomacy should be treated seriously and joking (however friendly) should be reserved for later, as well as the family's reaction to how much coffee Muffins is able to produce with such small spaces to work and how important compromise is.

Yet another well done chapter. Definitely liked the dialogue, characterizations and future chapter set-up as usual. Really appreciated Twilight's return to the slums and chats with Trixie, Cologate and Faust particularly concerning "the four stages". The stuff about how Twilight managed to lower the moon and the barrier spell were other great details in addition to Twilight being in brief contact with her counterparts from other universes. Now, Twilight can continue to work on her recovery from her biggest mistake.

REALLY appreciated Twilight's mental notes on how things in the slum HAVE changed for the better, even if they still had a big problem that she wants to help with. As you said, it takes REAL tenacity to continue helping others even in the face of your greatest mistake.

Sorry I took so long getting around to reading and reviewing this (nothing to blame for that except self-admitted laziness), but you did a great job on the exchanges, characterizations and future chapter set-up. Definitely appreciated the dialogues between Twilight and Luna, both in the dream world AND in the waking world. Particularly liked Twilight commenting on just what is required to truly help out in the slums, particularly the higher up help required. And, yeah, the dialogue concerning suicide was definitely appropriately emotional and made some great points. And it sounds like Twilight is going to have to do a bit more dealing with the mob.

Definitely liked Twilight discussing her issues in the slums with Hakurei and getting food for thought because discussing things with those crews and Luna and giving that fair warning to that rude secretary.

Hey, I don't have a problem with you taking a while on the updates. After all, real life needs to come first. Plus, quality over speed.
At any rate, you definitely did a good job on the exchanges, action, characterizations and future chapter set-up. Definitely felt bad for Twilight's group and the innocents they were trying to help getting attacked like that, but definitely respected how quickly and how well Twilight's guards fought back. And, yeah, also appreciated Twilight willing to take full responsibility for the mess, even if Celestia and Shining were willing to focus the more severe punishment on the corrupt council that made the fight necessary. The argument concerning the reasons for Twilight getting nominated for being the one in charge of the industry district after the mess's fallout despite the lack of land to her name presently were also well done. The stuff about "Captain Armor" when his helmet is on and just "Shining" when the helmet is off is also an appreciated explanation.

Wonderful job on this latest chapter. It took a while, but it was well worth the wait. REALLY appreciated the check-up back on Ditzy and Spike back in Ponyville (as well as Ponyville in general), depicting how they are doing in Twilight's temporary absence. Spike's reaction to finding out what Twilight has been up to was great stuff (him finding out just how deep Twilight's connections ran) and that musical interlude duet with Trixie and Octavia was beautiful as well.

Really appreciated Twilight trying to work on devising a plan to tackle the unemployment and health concerns and then realizing that they NEED to start allowing in imported goods again in order to reinvigorate a few key businesses and also recognizing the need for better technology.

Again, you did a really good work on the dialogue, characterizations and future chapter set-up. Definitely appreciated Twilight's discussion with the Princess when it was mentioned that Twilight KNEW her Princess status was temporary and was more than fine with that. While she did, indeed, perform, above and beyond with that temporary rank, she, in her heart (in this AU) knows she will be happier just running her own restaurant. The end chapter chat was beautifully bittersweet (though I DO feel bad for Trixie concerning what Discord is going to have in store for her).
