You know, if those unicorns really did call her such names when Scootaloo tried to introduce herself to them, I'd say they probably were asking for the beating they received. It doesn't make what Scootaloo did to them right, because it wasn't justified self defense, but picking on someone just for introducing themselves to you isn't right either.
Well... I love when stories don't pretend a big lesson but are simple "things that happen".
Also, Coco and Scoot are two characters that we rarely (or never) see together, neat.

Yeah, for such a short story I wrote because I thought those names would sound silly kinda landed in a great big moral grey area. Scootaloo knows what she did wasn't right, but it wasn't actually wrong either. And I kinda wanted to convey that there was big prejudice towards the "small town turd farmer" ponies like the CMC who were coming to a big fancy school in Canterlot. Some folks want to find any semblance of power over others they can, regardless of age. Just the methods and directness differ. I wrote it from the POV of Scoots, but if it was from the Unicorn teenagers, it could have been about them ´playfully ribbing´a newbie and her going ballistic.

Exactly. I could write about bullying, perspectives and such for ages. I just wanted something short about two ponies bonding over assholes being assholes. It did make me think a lot more about the content, though...
The pairing was pretty weird and solely based on their names. And then a friend of mine told me there's a weird pairing competition going on, so I tossed this fic there as well.
Now that scoots has beat them with her hooves she should now beat them with her scooter, as in showing off not bludgeoning them.
I mean, did Babs Pee?

i'm terribly sorry the message i was writing out got deleted due to 3 year old ''Dell'' laptop overheating!
mostly cause of bullying/fighting parts cause the tv show of mlp barely touch upon it.
with the cmc (they were side characters and their eps were spread out through the seasons) and possibly that one scene in rainbow rocks with sunset shimmer and the dazzlings.
this is all coming from a fan whose been in the fandom since 2012 & lurked for 4 years then joined in 2017!
p.s: btw... i've found a replacement laptop thanks to this author named midnightwolfGX but then this virus kinda screwed up with those plans. well now the world is slightly opening up again, i can get things rolling again.
also i'm a writer & have a very huge backlog of mlp fics!

That short sentence has so much to unpack, you know? FIM being about 15 years old, the fandom growing up or even old, so many friends I've made and a few I've lost, the whole fandom in general. Also on the side of personal growth and maturing, though for me I was close to 30 when I found the fandom so I don't have the teenager excuse... but people do mature even as adults, and also become far more cynical and jaded. I'm guessing without pony I would have become something far worse, now that I think about it. Introspection!
