I really screwed my self by getting rid of that first chapter. Didn’t I?

Ok, is this a Fo:E fic? Or is it just a post-apocalyptic fic? Either way, no matter the answer this is going in my 'to read later' bin. I don't usually read unfinished fics, so I'll wait for it to be finished, or close to it.

It’s an FOE fic set at the exact moment the blast happens and the immediate aftermath.

As for it being finished, I have no clue when that will be. As it’s going to spin off into lots and lots of other fics set in the same area and connected to each other.

It will however be updated every Thursday from now until it ends, except for other fics that are related to it, so it will be pretty regular.

I like your premise. I have friends and family that are medical and first responders, so I fully understand the grim humor. I am looking forward to more of this story.

Why thank you, there will be more soon. Though at some point i will start adding other projects

Haven't yet had a chance to read this, but the short description brought this to mind.

https://m.

A hell of a choice to have to volunteer for that task, but it is one hell of a bad day. A true nightmare situation and a realistic look at handling it. I just saw you had posted this on the 12 and had to read it, already looking forward to the next chapter.

Thank you for the good words. My attention and that of the audience is waining. Idk how well I can keep up this rate, idk if anything good will come tommarow

Oh man, I forgot to write one this week... did anyone notice

I think some of us definitely did! Please keep going as this is an intense heartbreaking story. I have many friends who are First Responders and you perfectly captured their perspectives and emotions during tragedy. Thank you for sharing this with us, and looking forward to reading the rest of the story as you write it.

I do not get notifications of when you update. I check randomly. I just figured it was taking you a bit longer for the next chapter. After all life does happen.

Thank you. Yeah I kind of... got lost. And I havnt made anything sense then. I may soon. I’ll just have to see

“I hope you don’t mind if I give you some… special treatment.” She said, brushing against his side. She was a bombshell and it made his spine tingle like heaven. “I mean, that adrenaline must be one hell of a drug, if you can think like that with that many burns.” She whispered into Florian’s ear, catching him off guard. It seemed that he had been rather more obvious than he had supposed.

“Oh, nothing could make this moment better.” Florian said, grinning at her. They had had a thing, once or twice. Out of the corner of his eye he could see nurses come for the truck, and he started to walk to the curb… right next to the bushes. “A Pretty mare like you taking care of me? What could possibly go wrong.”

OwO looks somepony was about to have some "fun" lol

It feels like some of the chapters are too short. I don't mind to much, I just wanted to point it out. Maybe you can refine the chapters and expand upon them at a later date. But I'm enjoying the story non the less.
