I'm not sure if any of this was inspired by my draft, but either way, feel free to use parts of it if you do want to. I'm fairly sure that I'm never going to be happy with my story or publish it, despite some interesting tech and ideas, simply because I suck at tying together characters and larger events.
If you do want ideas, I can send the rest of my notes.

And now we find that Dash was right, by a sort of backward technicality. Poor Luna's going to have to deal with a bit of annoyance convincing people that she's not evil, though.
Come to think of it, what the heck happened that that was the first idea that all the townsfolk came up with when the castle blew up? Secret conspiracy?
So, I'm guessing that there's no Lyra in Canterlot in the present day, and that has been changed from canon. That or she made an avatar while on the moon.
Trolling Luna is best Luna. I feel bad for that armorsmith. At least with Lyra back, perhaps he can learn some interesting new forging techniques.

Huh. That raises still more questions. I'm intrigued.
How would she know about a city and building ahead of time? Did she spend her time on the moon extrapolating the future or something?
I'm also curious how she seems to have knowledge from our world, yet seems to build most of it with magical equivalents rather than mechanically. So, ignoring how she also knows that for now (unless it's the Mirror or like my original story idea), why is she seemingly building things that look like what we use, but not in implementation?
Going with who I suspect is Sweetie Belle as an apprentice is interesting. I see that the ability to cook really badly is also a feature of her level of magical skill...
Twilight's going to be heartbroken that she was passed up, whatever else happens.
I'm loving the story so far. In fact, I put it in my recs group under "Under Consideration", not because it's too early in the arc to be sure it's eligible, but because it's too early in the arc to be sure which folders will be most appropriate.
