I know this story is old by now and I'm obviously very late to the party but I just want to say this has to be the most in character version I've seen of this pairing yet and as a huge Spikealoo fan I really happy to have read this. I don't know if you're still writing or even into ponies anymore (I'm slowly getting back into it myself) but if you are I'd be very eager to see what more you could do with this small known couple.
