Nolamancy

When writing, grammar is flexible. As long as you understand the rules, you can break whatever rules you feel you need to in order to communicate the story.

No one can live forever, even if it can certainly feel like it at times for one individual. The longer you live, the more moments you experience; the more you learn. But some moments last longer than others. Some parts of your life seem to last forever, while others fly past; drifting into the unknown realm of memories without a second thought.

Konrad has been out for a long time now, both literally and relatively speaking. After the events of Ketronel Base, he has been continuously moving; never stopping to settle down. So when a new assignment comes in from dispatch of yet anothe timeling gone to hell, he takes it without a second thought. Little did he know it would become one of those few moments in his life he would come to treasure; one of the reasons he does this job.

He will have to learn to wait, to hide, and to fix his mistakes. He will have to be invisible to the inhabitants of this universe, who might burn him at the stake for being a witch or something if they discovered who he is (though it wouldn't be the first time that has happened).

And how will he react to the royal authority of alicorns, especially when he is known to like to break steadfast rules?

One can only find out by joining him on this turbulent journey into Equestria.

That is, assuming he can get past the initial shock of the form he will have to take.

This is the first story in a series of many. It focuses on Konrad's arrival in Equestria and his adaptation to their society. Many more stories will follow, focusing on the different parts of his stay.

This story is a semi-joint work between me and Seras Novilious.

Sections will alternate between Adventure and SoL. Turbulence is followed by peace, and vice-versa.

Sections:

  1. Welcome to Equestria (Adv.)
  2. Patience (SoL)
  3. Hidden in Plain Sight (Adv.)
  4. Unseen Lights (SoL)
  5. Don't mind me; I'm just saving your lives. Nothing to see here. (Adv.)
  6. Revelations (SoL)
  7. What is this world? (Mild Adv.)
  8. Acceptance is not immediate (SoL)

Tag Notes:

While this story will be fairly light, section 5 (and maybe parts of section 3) may contain scenes that might be mildly uncomfortable to some readers. Right now I am not sure as to the extent of said violence since those chapters haven't been written yet. And while I don't think the "Violence" tag will be needed, I will mark those chapters just as a precaution.

While this story and the stories after it contain a TARDIS, they are not related to Doctor Who in any other way. The only similarity is the fact that it is a time machine that is bigger on the inside. Otherwise, it differs significantly (occasional references excluded).

I like your story, Its going in my obscure folder where it will subsequently be noticed by slightly more people.

Thanks. It's nice to hear interaction from the audience. The next chapter may be a little delayed; it's one of the ones I never really had planned out well. With the Coronavirus, I'll *hopefully* keep my schedule for every 1-2 Thursdays.
