In most of 'em they bring up rape and molestation as a 'big thing' that people's lives get frozen for.

Thing is, in most cases that ain't true. Especially in the adult world. In fact, most people just give it a good cry and shrug it off, because they literally cannot afford to bring it up due to how it would affect both their reputation and possibly their worklife.

It's interesting what you learn in psych class.
