This is super interesting for sure. I do wonder who..... what if Spike isn't just some innocent person pulled into Rarity's world. What if he has his own ritual, need, HUNGER, he must satisfy. Just think two creatures that are viewed as monsters by the normal folk but finding love with one another. One hungers for the blood, the other hungers for the flesh. They start to hunt together, feast together, have a connection none of their friends could possibly understand. The sight of blood staining their mate's mouth arouses them to no end. To know they are not alone but have someone they show their hidden and darkest sides to. I think seeing Rarity and Spike discover this about one another and falling for each other would be amazing.

This is still very interesting for sure. It is something to see just how much Rarity is craving Spike and he is none the wiser about it. To be frank I was kinda hoping to see a predator Spike to be paired up with this huntress Rarity. But super innocent and nice Spike works as well since this is clearly more of a Rarity centered story. I wonder what she will do noticing how strong her instincts are. I think she has only a few options. The one I can see her doing is trying to come out and confess to Spike, and worse case if he doesn't take it well she will get rid of his memories and than move away to keep everyone safe.

My apologies for the late response. The second chapter simply garnered my undivided attention all day yesterday and I truly wished to have it presentable earlier than what was shown.
I am elated to know that you find this tale interesting. I wasn't certain how viewers would like it, given how many other Sparity stories that I have posted here as of yet. There are even more to arrive as well; however, I digress. That is quite the intriguing notion. Don't go pondering that it yet couldn't occur in some fashion. Spike also has a major role in this and I will attempt to have two more chapters posted for this special night of ours.

Thank you. Honestly, it was not like this when I first fashioned this tale. It did not have the emotional ending that this chapter has now. I was truly tearing up having to write most of Rarity's inner thoughts, since I can relate to her fears to some extent and imagined for a moment that I would have to add a sad or tragedy tag.
I don't see how this chapter defeats that notion. We know that despite her quite lovely disposition when with Spike, Rarity also has a dark and lustful side. Who is to say whether Spike has his demons in some regard, yet has no need to try to conceal them while the alabaster unicorn is with him? Hopefully the next two chapters will assuage the worries, which you have written here.
Don't believe that Spike isn't important. This is a tale for both Rarity and Spike.

This was interesting for sure. It didn't progress the story along to far just a few hours really. We got to see a bit more of Rarity's mindset after last night which is nice. But I can't wait for something to happen soon. I mean from the way Rarity talked before she has been a vamp for a LONG time, which does drum up some questions, but anyway if she has been a vamp for a long time I figured all of this wouldn't effect her as much as it clearly is. But if she is still pretty new to the whole vamp thing it would make some sense but I still think that isn't the case. I mean she is making rookie mistake one with vamps, you don't starve the hunger. Vamps are creatures that are build around it. It doesn't get better or easier it only gets worse and becomes so big it devours who the person was before. She thinks she is going the good thing but really she is making herself into a ticking time bomb just waiting for the right trigger to set her off.

She was locked in her house for nearly two days during this chapter. She completely missed the third night of the Blood Moon, which will have consequences that Rarity has never experienced prior.
Yet keep in mind however that love and the desire to protect causes some extreme emotions in creatures. Rarity has never gone out with Spike directly after her first feeding for one and has never had him arrive at her house, yet she felt bad about never spending time with him on one of his favorite holidays. If you truly imagine it, she doesn't know if she might lose herself and jump on him the very next chance that she receives. These are all new things to her at least. As the tale stated prior, she locks herself away a week before the festivities begin and in this story, the celebration is more of a week build up to the Nightmare Night festival during the Blood Moon. Spike was yet only finishing his preparations for the second day of his events when he invited Rarity out with him. Also, there is something else about Spike that draws Rarity to him.

You did a great job with this chapter. It set up alot of things. It showed that Spike honestly only lived because he was a dragon and due to his larger size has more blood than the average pony. It showed how much she struggled with all of this and how much Spike cares. Also really like you didn't make Spike always have the perfect thing to say or be super smooth but the intent was always there. I think she should let him rest right now before sex or anything crazy. Even with what he said he did lose alot of blood. I wouldn't mind seeing them go on a date and they talk about everything, their feelings, where they go from here, her vampire side, Spikes own struggles with his instincts. Than they go home and have a wild passionate night, it would be fun to see her not having to hold back but her also telling Spike he doesn't have to hold back. From their talk she knows he spends his whole life holding back everything, power, instincts, alot,. But with her and her stronger camp body she can take all he has been holding back. He loves her for her and all she is, she want to do the same for him

Just had an idea from reading this chapter/reading DragonPonys post but what if, celestia (luna after being freed) have known about Rarity since the begining & set it up so that when twi went there to free luna from nightmare, she sent spike to be there for rarity/himself knowing that spike was a dragon & rarity wouldnt have to worry as much as she would about feeding off of spike as she would a pony & would be able to spend there lives together. (of course spike was going to go any ways but maybe something like she hoped they would end up together lol) & maybe having everyone find out at some point but being ok/still friends would be the best ending hahaha
again thats just an idea/what i was thinking lol but im sure you have your own ideas where/how you want this story to go but by all means if any of this sounds like it could be useful, then feel free lol

Your idea is interesting for sure. I think that one huge thing could be that Luna was the first or at least the goddess of the vamp pony. I mean she could have some in her night guard. She isn't a monster but now just a different kind of pony. If she was like the classic vamp she wouldn't have aged at all. It could be vamps age SUPER slow once they reach maturity. Rarity have never had anyone to teach her to be a vamp or to help explain things. Luna could be that for her.

thats an interesting idea, the idea of aging slow makes sense & still makes it so rarity & spike can be together :) having luna be the goddess of vamps works out also as she is the priness of the night hehehe. Having some in her guard would be interesting also, the idea of having luna teacher her about vampires is a good one i think :) I guess we could throw in what happend to her parents aswell, as nothing about them being alive or dead has been mentioned(i dont think, unless i forgot about it :p )

Yea in the canon her parents are still alive. That is where Sweetie lives most of the time. I think her parents not knowing would be interesting since it could have her coming out to her family and that would be interesting. Oh OHHH what if Rarity is a stronger than normal vamp, due to her time as nightmare Rarity. She was only able to become it due to her being a vamp but when she changed it super charged her a bit. With training she could even go back to her nightmare look. Kinda like her own super vamp form lol

some every good ideas indeed, what i ment about her parents tho is that, altho they are alive in canno. in this story they were alive when she was a kid(shes been around for awhile remember lol), so makes me think that they are 1:vampires themselfs & just not with her atm or 2:they died years ago & as no mention of sweetie has been made yet, then maybe shes been using her powers on sweetie/family to make believe that shes there sis/daughter sort of thing(hope you see what im trying to say lol) but as for the nightmare Rarity thing, im liking. so many good ideas hehehe

Thank you, I was quite vehement on perfecting this chapter, considering that it does indeed deal with a variety of matters. Emotions are high, yet not too high as to appear unrealistic. Yes, Rarity did indeed struggle, yet she still managed to control herself. If it wasn't for Spike, she would have likely managed, at least for the remainder of this occasion. Yes, indeed, I imagine that I would be saying the same things to Rarity as he did, so that aided in fashioning his dialogue.

It is one of the tales; one of the oldest ones I believe. This was before the Scare Master, I had this idea after Rarity didn't appear during the first Nightmare Night episode. I am glad to see others conversing on my tales; sharing ideas and such.

These are all quite intriguing ideas. Yet she did say that no vampires have been documented in two thousand years, before either princess were about, or, at least in power. Rarity's family tree will also be discussed in detail in the next chapter. Once again, I am happy to see the conversation between you two; mulling over ideas and the like.

I think you might be a bit off there. I mean I think Luna was trapped on the moon for a thousand years, I just double checked, so they were ruling for over a thousand years. Which I think then makes sense that they stopped being documented around that time because that is the time Luna was gone. So it could be that Rarity is the first Vamp pony to be made since Luna's banishment. But I am happy to hear more of Rarity's family and get some more clues on where this Vamp gene came from

You are correct; yet I did incorporate her banishment into this tale. Although, in my other story I said that they were about for around two thousand years. They were not around during the first one thousand years of the Crystal Empire's reign (at least not until King Sombra took over about one thousand five hundred years before the present in the show), which was stated to be three thousand years ago, one thousand years prior to either sister. So I shall correct it to three thousand years because I would be contradicting my other story despite it not being related to this one and because for Luna to be a vampire wouldn't make sense, at least to me. It would defeat the purpose of the story, since Rarity is meant to be the only one remaining, all of the other vampires having turned to dust thousands of years ago. She made especially certain.
Great chapter I really liked seeing the two of them just interact and talk to one another. I think the funniest thing is Rarity really REALLY doesn't know what she is doing. Spike is a loaded cannon and she keep teasing the fuse. He is a HUGE pile of sexually repressed desire tied in a VERY tight knot. He has been wanting, needing, desiring her for SOOO long and now he has her teasing him none stop. I can't wait to see when he gets more comfortable to start to return her teasing and actions. Even more so when he finally can't take it anymore and snaps. The two of them are going to go missing for like a week when they both lose it lol. And I think the biggest thing is it will best chance trigger some dragon instinct and he will want Rarity to be HIS, he want want her to be HIS mate, and even more so he will want to breed her. I honestly can't wait to see how Rarity would react to hearing him say something like that.
I get the feeling half her shop will be wreaked from their rough dragon/vamp matting, and for the whole block everypony around will be hearing them lol. I do just hope Spike start to get more comfortable with Rarity and being intimate even if he is still a powder keg getting bigger and bigger every time she teasing him. I think Rarity would love to see the lust and want in his eyes growing as he look at her knowing he could just ravish her at any moment. These two are going to be the couple who can't keep their hands/hoofs off each other and can't stop fucking every second they are alone lol. I wouldn't be shocked if down the road they bring Coco to be their little pet since she give off SUPER sub vibes lol.

I did truly love having these two simply sitting and speaking with one another about their concerns and their pasts. I also loved including how Opal knows and doesn't care if Rarity is a vampire or not, as long as she feeds her.
Oh, Rarity knows exactly what she is doing. She knows what happened on Spike's birthday, knows how powerful that dragons are, wishes for him to know that she will be there for him and wishes for him to know that he doesn't need to fret about injuring her. Don't doubt that she isn't a powerful creature in her own right, we simply haven't seen quite yet how able that she is. The alabaster unicorn is obviously strong if by simply breathing in and focusing, she can see the blood coursing through the hundreds of ponies within Ponyville; however, the next chapter will show her abilities as both a magical unicorn and as a lithesome vampire.
It has been a rather large build up to their passionate moments, hasn't it? I didn't expect to be including such an amount of flirting or barely contained sexual tension between these two; certainly not when I first began this story. I also didn't expect to see how much desire that there would be to see them interacting and making love, at least not quite this fast. I only published this tale on the thirtieth of October. Spike will be more comfortable, yet having his lady's attentions at last will not entirely eliminate his abashed and timid nature. Rarity purely has that effect on him and they both like it in equal measure, but he has been learning to be more cozy with her, in this chapter alone.
On another notion, how did you enjoy hearing about Rarity's past? Did you like how resourceful that she is about going to the hospital for supplies and such?

OH I get it and I think everything has been working so far. I think that is their dynamic and they both enjoy it. Rarity is a flirt and a tease to Spike and he enjoys having her attention and showing her how much she means to him. I think it really works for the two of them. I do think tho from the angle of a male, even tho I am nowhere near as timid as Spike, you keep poking a teddy he WILL turn into a Grizzly or in this case a dragon on you. But like you said I honestly think that is what Rarity wants and is SOOOO looking forward to when Spike reaches his limit lol. Oh I know they both are powerful creatures for sure even more so since Rarity can feed now, that is why I am sure once they reach the point they are going to start to be intimate they are going to break ALOT of shit and make alot of noise lol.
I think the build up to it is great since rushing it will make it feel more like a clop story than a romance story. And it is funny to me because as I see it as much as the readers want them together I feel they want it SOOOO much more if Rarity's inner thoughts and Spike's physical reactions are anything to go by lol. I will be shocked if Rarity makes it out of the year without being knocked up with how I picture the two of them going at it like to predators in heat lol. She will be doing alot of 'unladylike' things and Spike will find his dominate side for sure lol.
I think her past works out very well and it explaining how come no one caught on, mostly her family, that she was a vamp and that she was most likely born a vamp and it just developed as time went on for her. Having it be more of a natural thing instead of a Supernatural thing really works to me. I personally view it as a mutation or a alternate version of a unicorn seeing how she was born as this and wasn't turned. I do want to see how Spike react to being offered blood and how he react to tasting some. As a creature naturally favoring eating meat drinking blood might have a interesting reaction to him.
Lol funny scene just popped into my head for Spike and Rarity for after they reach the intimate level.

I do wonder if Rarity also desires her friends. The reason it was one of the phrases in the previous chapters.
This might be an estimated guess but what if Rarity's Vampire transformation was due to some type of magical item. Since she wasn't bitten or "Blade born" and neither of her family was much of a scientist, it seems that there was probably a magical item/trinket that may have contain some precious gems in which she was not aware and slowly transform her.
She's lonely.

Yeah I always enjoy reading your stories, don't know what it is but I just really enjoy reading your stories on spike & rarity. Think it's because the way you write them, you seem to be able to write stories on spike & rarity that make them great characters to read about & the way they interact with each other is just brilliant (couldn't think of any other word lol) it's hard not to enjoy your stories about them when you give them such great personalities & yeah I'm gonna stop now lol I guess all I can really say is thanks for the stories, keep up the great work.

If you wonder about all of the times that Spike has helped Rarity and that Rarity has spent alone time with Spike, on gem journeys, carrying groceries and clothes, helping within her shop, before all of this occurred, then supplementary it becomes astounding that these two lived with one another with these secrets for so long. They have tremendous will power. Well, they won't be performing anything too outlandish, yet I can see that both of them can be dominant, as it were.
Precisely, I am glad that you enjoy my rendition of the vampire for Rarity. It isn't only that it has been altered so much as Rarity has adapted it to her as well. I imagined that it was a nice change from the usual issues in regard to how vampires are some how not revealed when they are initially born and during subsequent visits to hospitals.
