When Pinkie Pie learns that Disney Quest, the world's greatest combination of video game arcade and indoor theme park, part of the Happiest Place on Earth, part of her childhood is closing...well she goes into panic mode.

But with the March break coming up and Starlight Glimmer visiting from Equestria, the girls have a chance to go on vacation and save as many fond memories as they can before the honourary fifth Disney World theme park closes.

Because this piece of beautiful Disney magic NEEDS to be remembered, preserved, and saved. And that's a Pinkie Promise!

As a former DisneyQuest cast member (2005-2009), thank you for this and I'm happy to provide any research assistance you may need about DQ or WDW in general.

I didn’t know how badly I needed an Equestria Girls/Disney World mashup till this moment. And Disney Quest too? I have so many fond memories of that place

Great story so far, looking forward to more!

Holy cow, seriously? It's a pleasure to meet you, I loved Disney Quest growing up and I seriously regret not going in 2017. Yeah, if you don't mind, I might Private Message you some questions about different parts of the rides.

I've been going through online videos and my own memories trying to recreate the experience in my head. I know that the Genie's little intro video on the 'Cybrolator' and the Ride the Comix parts closed years before the rest of Disney Quest, but I'm planning on including those parts anyway because they deserve to be remembered.

In the story, Pinkie Pie mentions that she emailed the Walt Disney company asking them to keep it open, but she's a little more bold than I am. I've thought about emailing the company and asking if there's anything that can be done to rebuild it in the future (or maybe recreate the rides inside a VR video game) but I'm too nervous to try. I read that there were some online petitions to keep it open that got over hundreds of signatures but those clearly weren't effective. I'm also worried about emailing the wrong person or making a fool of myself. And yet, if there was even a small chance of it working I'd go for it.

Sorry for the long comment. :twilightsheepish: Hope you enjoy the story. I'll have more chapters up fairly soon.

Feel free to ask!
As far as it coming back, It's not likely. Most of the attractions were way out of date by the time it closed, and the building has since been demolished. The company rally doesn't like looking backward, especially on thing it doesn't consider a success.

yeah gamer luna of course shes gonna be involved

That's kind of what I figured. I've read the story of how the Chicago location didn't get the support they were hoping for and that stopped Disney from making more locations and then they never really did much to update Disney Quest after that. I know the place was outdated, but it never felt that way to me.

I think it'd be cool if they could program all the unique Disney games into a single video game that anyone could buy and play at home, but I also know about how the company policy doesn't allow them to consider outsider creative ideas.

Realistically, I know there's not much that can be done, but we can all dream, can't we?

I appreciate your beliefs but its too late. Im sorry, but your story is a lost cause. The NBA experience is already under construction. Im sorry.:fluttershbad::raritydespair::raritycry::fluttershysad:

“Celestia? I’m going to Disney World for the March break. Actually, how many students could we afford to take on a field trip to Disney World?”

Luna, you do know that you and Celestia are going to need permission from the girls' parents/legal guardians.
Why do I get the feeling Cadance and Shining will want to go to... not sure if Flurry exists in this, but if she does, it would make quite the story.

If you don't mind a suggestion from me, I'd like to see them tackle the Score or Create zones first-Create because I wanna see Rainbow and Scoots take on Cyberspace Mountain together(and Fluttershy reaquaint herself with Sid's Create-A-Toy), and Score because the Pinball Smash sounds like a good first activity.
