Cause I figured that he would share his experience with them too, starting by "Bruce's parents weren't the only ones that were murdered", and that he would tell them that he lost his parents too, and he nearly lost it, but because of Batman, he was able to let go and move on, even if he didn't want to admit it.
I think they can have a moment where everyone shares their experience. That's always a nice lesson.
