Rainbow the undying

"She's a changeling. She takes the form of somepony you love and gains power by feeding off your love for them." Explained Cadence, flames roared as they covered the fake Cadence to show the evil being behind, Queen Chrysalis.

"Right you are, Princess. And as queen of the changelings, it is up to me to find food for my subjects. Equestria has more love than any place I've ever encountered. My fellow changelings will be able to devour so much of it that we will gain more power than we have ever dreamed of!" Shouted Chrysalis.

"They'll never get the chance! Shining Armor's protection spell will keep them from ever even reaching us!" Cadence shouted, Chrysalis had an evil smirk on her face.

"Oh, I doubt that. Isn't that right, dear?" Chrysalis said towards Shining Armour.

"Mm-hmm." Shining Armour mumbled.

"Ah, ah, ah. Don't want to go back to the caves, now do you? Ever since I took your place, I've been feeding off Shining Armor's love for you. Every moment he grows weaker and so does his spell. Even now, my minions are chipping away at it." She said while having an evil grin on her face, it wasn't clear but I could hear loads of laughing coming from outside the castle.

"He may not be my husband, but he is under my total control now." Chrysalis laughed, Twilight and Princess Cadence gasped.

"And I'm sorry to say, unable to perform his duties as captain of the Royal Guard." She laughed.

"Not my Shining Armor!" Cadence cried.

"Soon, my changeling army will break through. First, we take Canterlot. And then, all of Equestria!" Shouted Chrysalis.

"Yeah like that's gonna happen!" I shouted, my friends, Princess Cadence, Princess Celestia and Queen Chrysalis all looked at me.

"What did you say to me" hissed Chrysalis.

"I said, you'r not gonna win because me and my friends will beat your flank!" I threatened, Chrysalis's horn shone with a green aura and instead of aiming at me it was aiming at my friends, what have I done.

"Well, if that's the case what would you do if your friends weren't with you" she smirked, magic shot from her horn towards my friends, Twilight used her own magic to try and equal the magic that was coming towards them, but I could see that Twilight was struggling. The only thing I could think up was diving into the blast and take the hit for them, and that's what I did. I flew to my friends at a fast pace trying to build as much pressure when no push them it of the, I got to them just in time as Twilight stopped her magic, I pushed Twilight and Fluttershy away from the blast and took the hit, I was sent flying into the door with a bang.

"RAINBOW!" I heard my friends shout, I could also hear Chrysalis laugh, is this the end of the fastest flyer in all of Equestria, was this the end of me, Rainbow dash.

In Rainbows mind
"Rainbow wake up" said a new voice, shouldn't I be dead no one should be talking to me, I slowly open my eyes which surprised me, but what really surprised me was that there was a bipedal fish wearing armour.

"Thank Asgore you awake, I was so scared to lose you again" she said again, I had a confused look.

"Who are you?" I asked, the looked absolutely shocked to what I said, why, we only just met.

"How do you not know who I am, I'm your fishy bud, Undyne, does that ding a bell" Undyne said.

"Nope, doesn't ring a bell" I said, Undyne sighed in defeat, she looked at me.

"Ok, the reason I'm here is because I'm here to help you" she said, help, help with what.

"And I know that what I'm about to say is going to be crazy but trust me" she said again, I could only nod.

"Ok, see I'm a monster as you should know and as a monster you can use magic, like spears, bones, fire and so on, and us monsters can die easily except me, I was the only one back in the underground to actually refuse death, but it didn't work out because I died again." She finished, I was actually interested in what she said, the ability to refuse death, I really want.

"So why did you tell me this?" I asked, she looked at me again.

"I can help you fight Chrysalis, If I can give you my remaining magic I might be able to turn you into Rainbow the undying." She said, this plan might be able to work, I can finally see my friends again

"So are you in." She hands out her, what's supposed to be a hoof, I quickly grabbed it and shook, she grinned happily.

"Ok then, wake up" she said.

back in Equestria
"Ah! Shining Armor's love for you is even stronger than I thought! Consuming it has made me even more powerful then ever before!" Chrysalis shouted, I could hear all my friends crying around me, boy there going to be in for a big surprise.

BOOOOM

"What the, who did that!?" I heard Chrysalis shout, I smiled.

"It was me!" I shouted, my voice echoed through the entire hall.

"You, I thought I killed you!" she shouted back, my friends were full with tears, Twilight was the first to speak.

"W-we t-thought y-you d-died." She stuttered.

"How did that blast not kill you darling?" Rarity asked

"And How is your eye glowing, I it because you ate too much hot sauce." Said Pinkie, I ignored everything that the girls said

"I came back because, she should have tried a little harder when she fired that beam at me." I answered, Chrysalis looked mad.

"you dare to insult me, do you mot know who I am!" She shouted waiting for an answer.

"Your just a bug that should be squashed!" I shouted.

Rainbow is perfect for undyne yes, you've picked up on that well, but you haven't quite put together the fact that an mlp undyne expy must be a changeling, both for the teef, and also more importantly to be powered by _love_ and not LV. Trixie/Papyrus is the typical pony, getting power from harmony and organization in the library, but rainbowdash/undyne hears everyone's hearts beating as one, she gains power and determination, growing stronger just from others strength, fields of flowers with everyone's hopes and dreams feeds her will and determination, and nothing is more perfect than undyne's form bleeding away and reforming into a changeling queen to commence the final battle.

as for who is chrysalis?
well that should be pretty obvious.
