Thundersteed: Friendship is Metal

A story of a different sort of Ponyville where music runs the scene. Thundersteed is a story about friendship and self-discovery, following a loose, but overarching plot. My first original original fic (PONY WARS doesn't count), I've employed a new writing style with this one, hopefully making it better. I hope you all enjoy this attempt at decent fanfiction.

Ok, on a more serious note: The exposition could have been slightly longer. It doesn't come off as very natural that a bunch of ponies who were complete strangers until moments ago suddenly decide to form a band on the spot. Rainbow Dash getting in after being kicked out of an up-and-coming band is clever, and so is Pinkie's story. Kind of reminds me of the formation of Megadeth, but once again: pacing. Things move from one point to the other a bit too quickly. I think it would have been a bit more interesting if it happened over the course of several days, or perhaps even weeks. Tension among the members of the Wonderbolts. Rainbow Dash quits. Goes to the bar to drink all day. Decides she wants to get back in the game. Hooks up with Twilight and co.
A similar kind of story for everypony else (failed attempts at fame), and you're off to a good start.

To summarize: could use a bit more work, slightly better pacing, but the writing is otherwise good, and as Scootaloo might say: "I'm liking this idea!"
