Stupid stories for the low, low price of your firstborn children. o(*^▽^*)┛

It all started with a letter. A note, sent via Spike's morning barf, straight from Celestia. It was the usual crap, begging Twilight to get serious about her "princess duties" and such as a scheme to offload the entire day court on the mare.

Except this time, it was written in the dreaded (and rather unprofessional) typeface of...

COMIC SANS.

I sentence death upon you for making me think about comic sans

What is this?

I've never understood the hatred for Comic Sans. Everything seems to be about it looking cringeworthy or unprofessional. But I like the way it looks, it's super easy to work with, renders really well, and it fits with any scenario. Unprofessionalism is merely a hackneyed stigma. Only a non professional would claim they can't work with it. Sure, there are nicer fonts, but why exclude one so versatile? Now wingdings? That I can understand the disdain for. I'm not even sure how to read it.

I'm pretty sure it has less to do with the don't itself and more to do with the software that brought the font into existence: Microsoft Bob.

I think it's less about the font itself and more about its use in somewhat inappropriate situations. I was recently diagnosed with an allergy or two and my doctor handed me a self-written information sheet about allergen immunotherapy--in Comic Sans. It simply doesn't look that appropriate on an info sheet about potentially dangerous medical procedures.

I remember at my primary school with clippy on Word and your teachers making us comic sans to write our work in.
Those were dark times.

I have seen instructions on disposing of medical waste in a Hospital. Writen in Comic Sans. Why.
