Queen Celestia's six sons, Spike, Discord, Cheese Sandwich, Soarin, Fancy Pants, and Flash Sentry are to be married under royal law. The six of them are hesitant, but dutiful. At a Royal Ball thrown in hopes that the six of them can choose a mare to wed, they meet six mysterious girls who captivate them immediately. Uninterested in the suitors that come to call, they decide to take a break in Ponyville.
When they arrive in Ponyville, they reunite with the six girls who are willing to let them stay awhile. As the six brothers struggle not to fall for the girls they meet, Queen Celestia frantically sends her best guards on a search for the Princes.
Based on the title of 'Seven Brides For Seven Brothers', but not the content.

Some people might be down voting because of the shipping. Honestly, Raripants isn't one of my liked ships but I haven't down voted this. Some of the shipping here is so mainstream that it kind of get hate because of that. Honestly my favorite straight ships aren't really shown here at all. Rarity and Soarin, Discord or Big Mac are my Rarity straight ships, Flutterspike is my favorite spike ship, Rainbow and Fancypants or Blueblood are my favorite Rainbow straight ships, Pinkie and Caramel, Applejack and Blueblood or Fancypants, and Twilight and Braeburn. I'm weird okay, those ships are not common at all. Sometimes I also like Flutterlane and Fluttershy and Soarin.
But anyway besides my own likes, people see a lot of the ships that you have here. They are possible the top 10 of common straight ships, with maybe Applespike being the most uncommon. For some others, Flash Sentry is a boring character and they get very angry when he is shipped at all. There are only 19 votes as of right now though, so just hang in there and I'm sure that you will get more upvotes.
Also some of the story is too heavy in dialogue while other parts really need more. I think maybe going into detail about some of the attempts of the suitors to gain favor. Go into a little more detail about the goings ons of the characters. The flow of the story could be improved too.
Just remember that this is the first story you have on here. Most everyones first story has the most downvotes. (unless they are just attempting to get downvotes).

Okay, I know it makes him feel pressured and worried, but I'm just happy that people are giving him some love. 
I can totally picture Trixie and Starlight as Luna's daughters. You sure took your sweet time telling us who they were though.
I like this. I like this a lot. Sure, it's a little fast and could use some more detail in some parts. I did love the part where Spike gets all romantic and annoys the living daylights out of Discord.

What I've seen of Flash Sentry is that he's kind and brave. I like to think of him as a loyal pony who would never abandon those he loves. 
I love Flash Sentry and I devote some of my stories to giving him the "personality" people seem to think he doesn't have.
I guess I did take a bit of time to reveal that they were Starlight and Trixie. I'll try to do better with the pacing in future chapters.
I am sorry about the fast pacing though. It was originally a screenplay that was 2 1/2 hours long and I'm trying to slow down as best as I can.
I'm so glad that you're willing to give this story a chance though! It means a lot, especially after all the downvotes it got in the beginning of its submission.

I've seen some stories where he had anger control issues.
Also I think that stories where royals decide to go out into the streets and falls in love with another royal who had the same idea.
I don't know if this was intentional or not, but the film comes to mind with the title, and the plot (kinda)
