Well this was cute but the payoff was lacking. For this being tagged as romance it didn't really have it, the easily could've just been a friendshipping story and nothing need be changed. Also not finding out what was wrong with Dash left me feeling like this wasn't done.
It's well written and interesting but the lack of catharsis really hurts it overall.

I'll give you the romance tag thing. I was writing this with the thought in mind that it was romantic but thinking about it now, I suppose you're right. It doesn't really need the tag.
As for not finding out what was wrong with Rainbow Dash, that was very intentional. I understand that it's frustrating, but I wanted this story to get the point across that sometimes you really cant always get what you want. I wanted Pinkie to learn that lesson and adapt to it. I felt that leaving the ending ambiguous would make that point stronger.
But again, thanks so much for the review! This is my first fanfiction with this fandom so I really do appreciate it.

Well you handled my comment very well! Wonderful! Honestly I *wanted* this to be romantic lol but if not knowing what was wrong with Dash was important and this lesson was more about not always getting what you want, then realistically you achieved that.
Just was disheartening that I was expecting Dash to be upset over her feelings for Pinkie or something xD lol that's just me though, a sucker for love. Though there are ways this could've been romantic but it would've needed a few more details for that. The only indication was the blush on Pinkies face at the very very very end of the story.
But regardless good job for your first fic in the fandom! I wrote and posted my first awhile back as well! :3
This story is pretty much top tier... except for one glaring fault.
The reader never finds out what is wrong with Rainbow Dash. I'd say this is a clear failure of Chekov's gun, but being that the entire story is based on this issue Rainbow is having, it's more like Chekov's howitzer.
