Unimpressive Chaos Lord

Let's give this another go.

Las Pegasus is quite the particular city. As praised by party goers, economists and businessponies with a long list of pending trials as it is despised among the grumpiest and sourest ponies in all of Equestria, the flying jewel of the desert has left its mark on Equestrians and non-Equestrians all over the globe. Some for the better, some for the worse. The Great and Powerful Trixie has her sights on "the better".

Unfortunately, when a miscalculation adorned by a few too many convenient omissions about both her past and her prowess in magic leaves her heading straight for "the worse", a draconequus who once upon a time offered his chaos to spice up one of her performances might be her only escape from this predicament.

Let's just hope the casino has paid for a robust enough stage to withstand the weight of this pair of egos.

Rated T for sexual innuendos as well as several dark jokes.

Just turn whoever boos you into a teacup, that'll shut'em up fast!

Very nice characterization! I'll be keeping an eye on this one.

Thank you! I had a lot of fun writing the interactions between these two. Hopefully I'll be able to keep it up.

Not a bad idea. I might implement it there somehow.

As do, I! It's definitely inspiring to read.

Looking forward to more of this, I really loved...well...just about all of this. The description of Las Pegasus was really long, but I dislike more than a paragraph or two of setting description to be honest. It is a flaw of mine as both a reader and a writer.

Trixie mistaking the demon for Discord was great, but I really loved the interaction between the two of them when Trixie broke down as she realized her career was over. That whole scene and how Discord stepped back from his usual teasing was golden and showed that he didn't just think of her as someone to mess with and forget.

It's evil of me, but I also want to see more of that stage hand Trixie kept yelling at and who kept blabbing secrets, I feel sorry for her, but man she was funny. :pinkiehappy:

Can't wait to see this update again, no romance tag, so this isn't Trixcord, but it makes me wonder about the sex tag and how that will work into the show.

Thanks for such a long and dedicated comment. I'm glad you enjoyed so many bits of the story.
Yeah, I did let the description drag on for a while. Whenever I'm describing I am afraid of it not being long enough and fear it will be seen as lazy, so sometimes I over do it.
About the sex tag, well, I put it there to get away with more adult jokes, but I'm not sure if I'll ever do something else with it.

Anyway, thanks a lot for speaking your mind and I hope that the future chapters can satisfy you.

A-ha! You, good sir, have committed a crime here! A crime against nature, against humanity, against the Roman Empire and against this tiny bottle of gold paint I keep on my shelf.

Your crime, my dear Mister or Missus Unimpressive Chaoslord, is that whilst writing an amazing chapter for a wonderful story, you have in executing brilliant idea committed a terrible, unspeakable thing.
You have used Google Translate.
Now, don't get me wrong. Having that potty-mouthed yet strangely eloquent demon say "sanctified excrement" in Latin is a right stroke of genius. However, your method of acquiring said phrase in Latin was faulty. Google Translate is notoriously bad when it comes to Latin translation. It thinks "tantibus" means "nightmare". "tantibus" isn't even a noun. When it tries itself at cases it gets worse.

My point? Replace the garbage you got from that incompetent piece of software by a translation granted to you by slightly less incompetent wetware.

Here you go:
stercus sanctum

Hey, thanks, buddy! I really appreciate the help. Correction applied.
In my defense, I wrote it that way so people who wondered what that meant could look it up on Google translate and immediately know what I was referring to. Not knowing shit about Latin didn't help either, though.
