This was a pretty sweet, and pretty damn hot chapter. The only thing that bothered me- isn't it kind of... questionable, I guess, to make Slingshot's absolute first experience with stallions into a BDSM session? I mean, it was hot, I grant you that, but, I dunno, it seems more like the sort of thing that's better to 'work up to' rather than metaphorically taking the plunge and hoping he can swim well, since, realistically speaking, he'd probably be feeling awkward and anxious already without throwing the kinky stuff into the mix. I don't know, that's just how I feel. I mean, I know BDSM's all about trust and what not, but it seems a little, I dunno, reckless to put that much trust in some stallion he literally just met. It was still masterfully written, just the circumstances made me raise an eyebrow.
7843299 it could have some truth, what you say, but my co-writer and I did play Silver Chord as somepony who wanted to be sure of Slingshot. The regular check ins, there was no real pain with the sock bops, and when Slingshot was really uncomfortable going into the store there were no questions on the no go.
I think the way we wrote it we had Silver Chord play it very carefully with his virgin new-found friend.
