This story is a slice of life representation of a typical morning for Derpy and her daughter, Dinky.
Written almost a year ago, this was originally intended to be part of another series called The Album 2, spearheaded by Peregrine Caged. The Album 2 unfortunately fell through and the story never got posted. I found this in buried in my hard drive and thought I may as well post it.
Original goal of The Album 2:
As many short (1-3K) and simple ‘snapshots’ as we can get. Laid back short stories detailing a moment for a speaking role character, something we normally don’t see...or even think about. Don’t think about it too hard, nothing too complex or too deep--just a Moment described in words, a Moment in the lives of these very real characters.
A shame that the collab didn't go anywhere...
